@Aditi di Great analysis, di! Yes, Surpanakha didn't use her brain(like always), and only looked at the pros of having a lion. But she didn't look at the cons. That is why it is important to thoroughly inspect the options that God gives you. Who knows, you might be saved from a lot of trouble.

@ Tha di Thank you, and you are my partner in crime! Yes, Lord Krishna is the origin of everything in the universe, including knowledge, and we credit scientists for making inventions, when God is doing everything through us.

@Jaya di Your practical views are the second side of the story, so thank you! Yes, Megnadh at that time was the commander-in-chief, not a family member. That is why he was able to be harsh on the seashore. If he was a family member, he wouldn't have acted the way he did. Great job!

@Anu di I loved one of your points, di, that power makes you want more. Very true! Humans are like that only, we want more of everything, and are never satisfied. But we forget, that when we die, we only take our souls, and leave everything else behind. So what is the use of enormous wealth, you only need enormous knowledge and enormous devotion.

SIYA KE RAM- 9/06- DISTRACT

Finally phuski rocket surpankha gets a dose 😆

Whatta move cvs 👏

but as we all know surpankha won't stop here. she goes to kumbhakarn.

i really wish they had taken someone better.

surpankha presents a story in front of kumbhakarn. i was reminded of manthara here.

so surpankha gives a flip side of story.

they chopped off my nose. ravan abducted his wife. but the lady trapped brother with her charm. now brother is not taking revenge.

and the first question kumbhakarn asks is "bhabhi mandodari?"

and surpankha very cleverly twists it with nature of ravan. how will ravan allow?

so kumbhakarn is ignited 😆

mata parvati is worried.

kumbhakarn goes to kill sita and she simply chants "raghunandan"

and beyond every maya kumbhakarn sees the truth.

the ultimate truth.

all he can do his fold his hands.

"devi" the call astonishes sita.

ravan shouts from a distance.

kumbhakarn warns him not to kill her but let her go.

cmn to the title

am selecting "distract"

many times in our lives we face this situation.

there are ppl, situations and incidents that distract us from the ultimate truth.

surpankha made it a point to distract kumbhakarn

ravan time and again does this with surpankha.

sita's chants were a distraction for a person plagued by half truth.

distractions are important in life. some take us away from the reality. some take us towards the reality.

distractions either take us away from the path or they can also carve a new path.

Hello guys! Sruthi di and Janvhi di took all of the good points, so I am going to stick with my theme of the day and some untouched points. Hope you like it!

At the beginning of the episode, Simhika is shown trying to kill Sita. If you guys noticed, Simhika stepped on Sita's shadow, and Sita was unable to move. This is Simhika's power, the ability to stop anyone by touching their shadow. But, how does this power work? Simhika first captures the heart (or shadow), by instilling fear in it, and the body automatically comes in her control. What is Sita's fear? Even though Sita has full confidence on her husband and brother-in-law, she fears that she might not be rescued from Lanka and that she might never see Ram and Lakshman ever again because of destiny's game. Simhika attacks that doubt and traps her, rendering her motionless. But, why wasn't Hanuman greatly affected by her power? Because he is fearless, and he is confident on himself because of his Ram bhakti. That is why faith in yourself is important. Because without faith, you open yourself for everyone to control you, all because you are uncertain and fearful. Simhika then raises her arm to strike, but Ravan interferes by binding her in a magical rope. She breaks free, but is again bound by Ravan, but this time in a large serpent. She is taken to Ravan's Sabha, and pledges her allegiance to Ravan and Lanka forever. This scene was a symbolization of a human's struggle to fulfill his duty. As a person progresses in life, Maya will try to lure him in her many forms, but a prson can get free from these easily if they are focused, just like Simhika, focused on murdering Sita, was able to free herself from the magical rope. But once you are snared by evil, it is very difficult to escape, as it was difficult for Simhika to escape the sake. She became bound to evil for the rest of her life, but when Hanuman killed her by entering her, ripping her internal organs apart, and throwing her in the sea, she is free from the snares of evil and the worldly pleasures.

Also, at the end of the episode, Kumbhakaran, after being brainwashed by Surpanakha, arrives in the Ashoks Vatika in a furious state. He blames her for bringing troubles on his family, and lifts his leg, so he can trample her to death. But, he is astonished to see Sita's true form- Maa Mahalakshmi. He seeks forgivness from a confused Sita, and after begging Ravan to let her go, he falls into a long slumber once again. As we all know, the universe is controlled by three gunas- Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas. Here, Maa Mahalakshmi represents the Rajas Guna, the guna of activity and rebirth, and the people of Lanka represent the Tamas Guna, the guna of inertia and destruction. When destruction and rebirth meet, what is the result? Life. This is why Sita was never killed during her stay in Lanka, she always had some Tamasic people around her that balanced out the equation, and gave her the gift of life. This gift is what enabled her to support her husband in annihilating Dharma, and this gift is what made her the epitome of sacrifice and duty. This teaches you that having a balance in all of the gunas is a key in maintaining an ideal life and attaining salvation after fulfilling your duties properly.

After watching the whole episode, I felt that the theme of the episode was user and used people. Ravan used Simhika to defeat Surpanakha and will later on use her to protect Lanka, and Surpanakha used Kumbhakaran to kill Sita, but he failed. The moral of today's episode is that you can use people, but using the right methods for a good cause. Ravan and Surpanakha both used people for a bad purpose, and in the long run, they both were killed. Instead of following the duo's example, you can make an organization for girl education and you can use volunteers to help spread the world. So, do use people to do good things and spread the word of God. And you will see that people's lives get better, not ruined, because of your efforts. And that is the thing that counts in the end, love and compassion, for they are immortal, and revenge and hatred lasts only for a person's lifetime.

Res Unreserved.
Hey guys, sorry for being too late to post. Hence forth I will follow DD's suggestion and block my slot little later, so that the slot doesn't look empty for long.

Coming to the episode, one need to understand that do some work or create something if you are confident of controlling the result all alone with good grip. Otherwise the results may boom wrong and you will be at the receiving end. That is what happened with Shurpanakha on many occasions and even with Singini & her dear brother Kumbhakarna. She was so consumed with vengeance that she didn't oversee the fact that her brother and his son have hawk eyes and are watching all her moves and she didn't even realize that the Maze was created exclusively to prevent her from harming Sita. Her creation was so raw and still full of greed and did question her that what she will get in return once she kills Sita. Shurpi was not prepared for this question or what to do with her later after she kills Sita. It takes a great strength to control evil than the good people. That is why it was easy for Ravan to control Singini (some call her Lankini) as he promised her a meaty role in his army and made her the captain of the security team given to Sita. It's true both brother and sisters are evil but one acts upon thinking while the other on impulse. Shurpanakha always feels she was rejected by Ram because Sita was already in his life or let us say still in his life. And Lakshman insulted her because of Sita only (to save Sita). Hence she was consumed with jealousy and hatred and in her vengeance she can't see anything clearly. That is one more reason she went ahead and woke up her sleeping brother despite knowing the fact that waking him on unnatural way is dangerous for his life. She was not bothered about losing her whole family if that is the price she had to pay to get Sita killed. A person who is not in his full sense will only process the data fed to him and will act accordingly. So all he thought was Sita has trapped his brother and is the source of sorrow for his favorite Bhabhi Mandodari and also an evil that has induced differences in his family. He never processed as much as his brother would not have allowed her to sit in Ashoka vatika had she been the one who trapped Ravan and in such case she would have been in his own room (Ravan's) or she would have been given the highest pedestal in the palace. Though he sleeps most of his life, he still care for his family in what little time he is awake and that is why he went to Ashoka vatica to remove Sita from his family's way. Yet again, Shurpi forgot her brother who is all eyes or shall we say who has 10 heads and could watch all her moves, even if Kumbhakarna had not seen the goddess in Sita, he would not have gone against his brother's orders. So, so long as Sita is in the safe custody of Ravan and his son, no one can harm her and even Sita realized it.

Coming to Sulochana and Meghanad, I was so right about why Meghanad allowed her to carry out her task and he expected her to realize the truth by the end of her task. But here again the lady in question was consumed with her failure that she failed to understand her husband and his motives behind waiting for her at the exit of maze. So despite her spitting hatred in front of her FIL, he still welcomed her with his jovial side (which is very rare to see in him) and said "she has decided to grant him the death penalty". Such a wonderful husband he was. (Sorry went off the track). But she was seething in vengeance that she only thought he betrayed her and gave importance to his father. But he was hurt with her words that he killed her trust in him and it is as good as dead. So literally she killed him by saying their marriage has no value and they have no relationship left. Meghanad was more pained with her words than the sword edge which cut through his palm.

It took Meghanad to spell out in BOLD that he didn't broke her trust but highlighted her foolishness or her one point agenda to abduct and dispatch Sita was so immature that they could have eventually caught & brought her back. Now it is in Sulochana's hands to save her marriage or break it as she has hurt her husband beyond control with her harping words that too for whom? The one who had not even sought her help to get out of the situation. The lady in question is not bothered as she has not been ill-treated and the lady who may get affected by Sita's presence is Mandodari and she is standing away and watching but has not gone against her husband as she has analyzed the situation well and realized what may be best at the moment and that is to be silent.

But the 2 other ladies who are hell bent to remove Sita from the scene are not goping to be directly benefitted with her removal but still has taken the responsibility of removal as their sole agenda and are doing the irreparable damage to their other relations.
