Shruthi Both Draupadi and Sita were exemplary women ahead of their or even our times. If Sita had her Ram then Draupadi had her Krishna. In Sita's kidnapping and banishment Ram was not present physically but never abandoned her. Same is the case with Draupadi, Krishna is there to lend a hand at the most trying times of her life. Draupadi had one more advantage, Krishna never is a silent spectator in her trials, whereas Ram as a king could not do anything other than let a pregnant Sita go for vanvas.
Like you, I have always been an ardent advocate of Draupadi ,but since a few years ago I have made an attempt to understand the essence of Sita. As you wrote Draupadi had faced discrimination from her birth, whereas Sita came from a loving and protective environment, but both had the all the elements in them. Both of them had the qualities of water to deal with complicated relationships {flexibility},the element of fire to face down their detractors with resolution and power, the element of air to think outside the box in times of trials and tribulations, the element of Earth in their capacity to forgive the people that caused them so much pain and the last of all the element of ether or sky with their limitless and unshaken faith in Hari. All of us need these qualities to make our life complete.
Shruthi,I have come to realize that earth's endurance and resoluteness combined with the power and ferociousness of fire is needed for the present scenario,Isn't it?

Nicely written Shruthi⭐️
I like to think that we have Sita in us every time we forgive and hope for a change in those who wrong us intentionally though Draupadi is the easiest to relate with due to her fiery nature.
