No issues Aadhya. Actually we should connect both epics and bring it to the realm of present world so that we can apply the learnings.

I am waiting too 😊

Speaking about providing direction, Krishna & Hanuman were born to provide direction. When Ram was vulnerable, clouded with sadness, he met Hanuman who helped him to direct his vulnerability 😊 Similarly when Arjun was clouded with guilt, Krishna directed him and took away his guilt 😊
Sorry for going off topic, Shruthi di 😳

Well said ⭐️
Krishna and Hanuman also went as doot for the Pandavas and Rama respectively.

Beautiful shruthi. Do you want me to say why I am here? We discussed about panchali a lot before. Just to compare, Sita's husband was Ram whereas panchali suffered in the hands of spineless pandavas. I cant compare them but both are brave in their timings. Sita lived in treta yug and draupadi lived in dwapara where the mentality of people differed a lot but the base remind the same, torture the women.

amazin post Shruthi...
and i guess every girl of today finds Draupadi to be more relatable because Dwapar yug already sown the seeds for kaliyug..y Draupadi is more reltable coz of the extreme changes in how the world worked. Sita was abducted in absence of Ram and Laxman. Raavan was an asur, an outsider. Ram would not have borne that insult to Sita in any case. Things were more simple in my POV in treta yug. Look at the love of brothers, and everything else. Everything is so ideal in Ramayan and it shows how ideal relations should be. In Mahabharath, every character is flawed. They err, they repent, they rectify in their own way.

In case of Draupadi, it was her own clan that was hell bent to insult her, hurt her dignity and scar her soul in the hall of dice i.e the Kauravas. Her husbands were reduced to mere spectators and I think this would have been more shockin and hurting for Draupadi that her husbands were not able to stand up for her dignity when such insult to their wife was happening no matter watever fetters they were prison into . Wat a girl wants from her partner- respect and support. She leaves behind her family to embark on a new journey called marriage on the basis of whom- her husband. and u r right that a woman has that fire in her, the fire borne out of injustice or bias. If both man and woman does not understand the situation, this fire that has been burning since childhood can definitely destruct the lives of both.

Comin to Sita, as u said, she is bhoomija. She is prakrati. The key characteristic of prakrati is TO GIVE. and dat is why i find symbolism of Sita in mothers. Once a woman becomes a mother, she becomes the giver. I am always sweetly surprised by unconditional love of mothers towards their kids. How do they do this !!. We all can relate to this giving nature of our mothers. and i guess dats y Sita is given the status of SITA MA in our Hindu culture and is worshipped because a mother is always meant to be worshipped. Mother is the reason for our being just like the prakriti is the reason for existence of all the beings.

Awesome post di! I also find another parallel that both of them had to do agnisnanaan. After staying with one husband and before transitioning to the next, Draupadi had to enter the fire and purify herself, and Sita had to prove her purity through Agnipariksha. Draupadi had to compromise more and do it more times, which proves your point. Keep writing more, di!

@Ramya same point right. Spineless Pandavas. But they fought. Same with Kaliyug men. They are also spineless and then regret later, because they too think like Pandavas just like Yudhi thought he can keep his wife as deal or bet whatever.
@attu things were not simpler in tetra yuga. There were complexities and in every yuga the complexities exist. But then the people with right knowledge were more in tetra yuga and this decreased in dwapar and currently knowledge is buried deeply. That's why so much destruction.
