Well, this is not totally wrong.

The context it's being shown in is very wrong. Ravan's family did not go against him and continuously try to help Sita escape. Some of them tried to caution him, warn him and plead with him to let Sita go, but none of them ever betrayed him to the extent of helping Sita escape.

The only time Sita ever had the opportunity to escape was when Hanuman came to Lanka in Sundar Kand.

Hanuman told Sita he was not able to see her suffer, and that with her permission he'd take her back to Ram on his shoulders.

Sita politely declined, citing several reasons. 1) She could not touch another man willingly (even a sworn brahmachaari like Hanuman), even if she saw him as a son and he was trying to help her. 2) She could not insult Ram by fleeing Lanka like a culprit, because leaving would mean she had no faith in his capabilities to free her. 3) Ravan had committed the greatest sin of his life by forcibly bringing her to Lanka, so he deserved to pay for his sins, along with anyone who supported him.

It was not Sita's vengeance, but the whole point of her incarnation. Ram and Sita took birth only to rid Earth of all the unrighteous demons residing in it.

Sita Haran was a leela that Lakshmi Narayan created to accomplish the whole purpose of their incarnation. Sita Mata let herself be kidnapped by Ravan only to bring about his, and his relatives' destruction.

I don't understand what's the point of these unnecessary scenes . The purpose could be achieved when Hanuman scene came. Ideally it should be there only. If they wanted to show mandodari helping Sita atleast sulochana part could have been avoided ( they unnecessarily fractured a nice love story) I'm not say ing meghnad was right but lets be frank be belonged to asura clan. He looked upto his father. Sulochana knew all that and she was devoted to him. And I don't think indrajeet had much involvement in haran or aftermath. I guess he became prominent only from Hanuman episode and war later where he was just doing his duty as the son of raavan and warrior of Lanka.
CVS really need to get their concept of "strong woman " right coz according to them strong woman is rebellious.

That's the problem with many people living in India. They do not understand the concept of feminism, or what constitutes a strong woman.

A strong woman is seen as one who should be rebellious and aggressive, one who behaves stupidly without any thought to her own protection, and yet blames the men in her life for their inability to protect her. She refuses protection, but cries foul when she needs it.

Such women are actually not strong. They are actually the weakest sort of women.

A truly strong woman knows her strengths and weaknesses. She picks her battles. She is assertive but not rude. She is intelligent, kind and has the ability to make sensible decisions in life.

Sulochana too was never so much against Raavan and Indrajit , like what has been shown

She sure had her reservations regarding the Haran of Sita , but she was never so much vocal like this.

And then again showing her in chains like sita , waiting to be given punishment , this seriously is Filmy stuff , not mytho .

Tomorrow when they show Lakshman and Indrajit fight , what are they gonna show , that she was pretty happy seeing her husband die as he was on the wrong side of Justice , I mean cmon , just stop making wierd stories Cv's

^^ Weird is right, Shivam. This show has turned so weird nowadays...doesn't resemble a mytho at all. It's like watching a cheesy bollywood flick.

No offence but I don't find this sulochana committing sati. I mean both of them have been shown so much against each other. And the kind of female warriors CVS have introduced the chances of them being happy are more when meghnad is killed.

Forget Sati , possibility of at least a tear drop is also slim

Meghnad - Sulochana have such a complicated relationship... I wonder if they are planning to develop a love story there or just make Sulochana the villain in aiding Lakshman in defeating her husband...
Well, the whole logic of of Ravan's kidnapping Sita has gone down the drain with yesterday's episode 😆

As per the story so far...

Ravan kidnaps Sita for some weird reason that involves Shurpanakha.
According to his mother's counsel, she is 'the best' pativrata and marrying her would make him immortal.
Sita would gladly, readily and without a second thought abandon her husband if he is on the wrong path
Sita is revered more than Mandodari who even now tries her best to stay by her husband's side and protect him somehow but Sita is the better pativrata for some unknown reason...

Pativrata dharm at its finest 🤪

The BGM for the scenes with Ram missing Sita is grating on my nerves. It feels too artificial and jarred and totally ruins the scene and mood... 🤢
