No Ravan cannot abduct sita.He even cannot touch her.He kidnapped Maya sita wife of Agni dev named swaha who was vedavati, In her previous birth she said that she will be the medium for Ravan death before she sacrificed her life by jumping into fire since ravan touched her.
Sita has immense power, she herself can kill Ravan if he tries to touch her but to respect vedavati devotee of lord vishnu, she took the place of sita and went to lanka
