As this is appreciation thread, two things that are a must to appreciate:

Entry scene- larger than life, scary and ruthless...JK made us hate Raavan immediately

Chemistry with Mandodari: like the two of them in a frame.

Shruthi The problem was over exposure. Unwanted scenes added which kind of diluted ravan. Plus this surpi track not helping surpi nor ravan.

Writer and director need to work on this aspect.

@jayashree surpi was a comic relief 😆😆, but yes they could have given us some nice Ayodhya scenes instead of that.
