Thanks a lot Shivam for this. I was wondering quite a bit on Indra scene. Remember Indra taking refugee in prakriti and Ravan unable to catch him. I was not sure why that scene was there. Where it connects.

Your line make me understand why the scene was necessary. Indra take refugee through Prakriti. Ravan needed something to defeat Prakriti. He didn't had the knowledge. So he goes to some Asur and gets the knowledge of Maya or the power to create illusion. Then with that power he attacks Indra. And when Maya is used Prakriti is not available Indra succumbs.

So how do you deal with Maya. With counter Maya. It is said that Prakriti's most beautiful Maya is woman. And Shri Parvati herself is called Maya as she comes along with Krishna as his sister.

To a man who has the knowledge of Prakriti or nature can see the Gouri and Kali in a woman. Just like Sita telling Laxman hidden in the beauty of Prakriti is its destructive nature. The flash flood.

And such a man will ensure she remains a Gouri or a constructive force always. A man living in the world of Maya will only see the beautiful face, the abla nari not her destructive power and using her incorrectly he brings his own destruction.

Ram and Laxman decide to tease Surpi's Maya, and only when she takes the real roop they know what they are upto and whatever happens is sudden, though it happens in defense of Sita.

And Ravan he falls flat for Mahalakshmi's Maya. He takes Maya to Lanka, the Maya Nagari. The man who was winning with Sanksriti's Maya, Prakriti's Maya finally takes him and his Maya Nagari down thus bringing Prakriti to light once again.

Remember Ravan sits around fire when he was taking lessons on Maya. After the war Sita comes out of fire. Prakriti removed of all impurities, all Maya.

Adding my tidbits to Maya from Krishna's side:
You all know that Krishna went for a war with Narakasura, taking Satyabhama with Him. Narakasura, who is immersed in his own power, forgets the fact that Bhama is swayam Dharti, who is his own mother. He plays with Bhagwan ke leela. Satyabhama, who was Gauri till then, the moment she saw Narakasura attacking her Husband, transformed into Durga/Kali, killing Narakasura. This again goes to show that Prakriti is the highest form of the Lord's games. Rakshasas Maya is nothing compared to Prakriti. This episode shows the victory of good over evil; of Prakriti over destructive Maya.

There are times, when there is destruction happening, the husband has to let his wife become destructive force instead of constructive; Satyabhama, who is verily Lakshmi, switched to Shakti/Durga/Kali, to bring down evil.

Yes Shrutha. Mahadev allows Parvati to become Durga to kill Mahisasur to establish dharma. He knows Parvati. Even in SKR, when Parvati goes to protect Sita in her Kali avatar Mahadev doesn't stop her.

Only after she comes he asks her and they have a heart to heart talk and Parvati decides to step back.

In Kaliyug we have lot of Mahishasur who only Durga can take down. No man is capable of taking them down.

I had put it earlier also. In order to ensure Ram and Arjun come to limelight rather than Ravan and Mahishasur, women has to take the Kali roop.

It is not just protection of women, right men also has to be protected who are also hunted down by evil people.

Can we ever imagine the guilt of Nirbhaya's friend who was unable to protect her from the gang rapists. What would be going through him.

There are men who gets killed because they tried to prevent their daughter, sis, gf, friend or wife getting teased or attacked. World need good men also.

Exactly Shruthi. And these kind of men can be taken down only by the ones they tease or harrass the most, women. That is why, depending on the situation, the woman has to take Gauri roop as well as Durga roop. The reason I stated Satyabhama was because she did exactly that. She, who is the Mother of the Universe, had to turn into Shakti, to destroy her own son.
Draupadi is another example. The Kauravas turned the Lakshmi of the kul to the Shakti of the kul.
