Loved the parallels you draw between mithila,Ayodhya n Lanka. Want to watch the episode badly😭

Meghanadh's wife is Sulochana n she is Sheshnag's daughter. Meghnadh had only one wife n like u

said her Satitv will be highlighted in the battle between Lakshman(sheshnag) n Indrajeeeth. She

commits Sati after Indrajeeth is killed.

Geena I miss sara as surpankha. Minus the screeching, she played well with her eyes.

Update when u watch it. The episode is nice in terms of dialogues. Especially surpankha.. 👏

Actually, Sulochana could be the daughter of either Seshanaag or Vasuki. Each tale says one thing.

Even if it was completely Lanka i liked the episode.😃 Loved the casting of Meghnadh - Had my doubts when heard about Ankur since he is older than JK. But they looked good together.
Coming to the episode the new Surpu reminded me of Devdas😆 Her transformation from a loving and naive sister to a dejected and troubled soul who is trying to drown her sorrows in wine n men was disturbing.She have lost that blind trust in love. She is just a pawn for the men in her life. They use her as a sheild against the power or fear of Ravan.Her brother might be the lord of three worlds. But that power destroyed her simple dreams.I loved her dialogue to Ravan that it is true he gave her freedom but not freedom from his fear.
'ache kul ki kanya" have boundaries in both Lanka n Ayodhya. The difference was in Ayodhya the girl was punished and in Lanka the one who questioned was punished. So in Ayodhya the men decide their women's boundary where as in Lanka the women decides her boundary.
Meghnadh's love for his father is said to be in par with Ram's love for Dasharath. His interaction with Sulochana might have been to highlight this.
Surpi's final statement that she wants to go to Dandak van because she cannot stand the humiliation of their Mayavi powers is making me dubious. Felt like she wants revenge n wants to find if they are capable of slaying her brother.

Yesterday the conversation between Indrajeet and Sulochna was good...according to Meghnad his upmost dharma is to follow his dad's order...and then he tells Sulochna that because of this dharm you are my only wife and I like to keep it that way. The reaction of Sulochna was unexpected...she said..."yahi to Keri viwashta ka nimmit hai".

So Meghnad follow ekampatnivrat...because he wants to follow dharm?...or because he loves his wife dearly.

Sulochna is showing loyalty because she loves her husband or because of the helplessness that her husband is loyal to her?...

There is a sharp contrast between Sulochna and Urmila's dialog...

Urmila's: aapke lite kiya hua har karya mere liye santosh ka nimmit hoga.

Sulochna: yahi to meri viwashta ka nimmit hai.

So do we think that there is freewill attached in the life of Meghnad and Sulochna?
