Note first:If you do not know the ending of Ramayan then do not read...

I was watching a scene where Luv and Kush was singing a song for Ram in an episode of an old ramayan and I was in so much tears when they were singing about how Sita spent her life in vanvaas sometimes crying sometimes smiling calling out Rams name... It was so emotional and so heart-breaking😭😭I dunno if they will show it in SKR or not but I hope they do

The only reason I am talking about this is that I want to know why and how Sita went to vanvaas in the first place like did Sita say herself she wants to go or did Ram tell hee to go? And even if Ram did tell her to go there must be a really good reason behind it because Ram is such a respectful husband and all... Some people are coming to conclusions saying he was a bad husband..I don't think so...Also my mom says that he told Sita to go because he did not want Sita to suffer by the people I do not blame Ram whatsoever if he did that.. in fact I do not blame him at all unlike some people...

Do some people feel the same way? I meam I actually feel so sorry for Sita a lot I love her so much but I also feel sorry for Ram too as he was only doing his dharm... Anyone else know why and how Sita went to vanvaas? I know why she went but I just want to know like whos deicision was it?

You were asking the reason for letting go sita to the forest right? I have a little idea about that!

Actually someone from the kingdom had talked about sita. They said that the ordeal of fire(agni pariksha) took place in lanka but not in ayodhya. that person said that sita is not pure. This news reached ram. He being the people's ruler and highly devoted to dharma decided to send sita to the woods.

^ i dont know if this is 100% true...My mom told me this

Actually as far as i know.
A washer man talks ill about sita and accuses ram for accepting her back...this news reaches ram..he was shattered but did not say anything...then news reached sita...to protect ram from accusations she herself proposes to go to van...ram did not stop her for 2 reasons..
1. Raj dharam
2. Bcz today one person said that and as time passes full rajya may say that...so to keep her and their unborn child away from such ill treatment and ill wordings...he took the blame on himself as a bad husban for next generations

To say to people that he has faith in her...he made a goldenn idol saying she is pure as that gold...
And in one circumstance he said..if i for a second had doubted her he would have died that second itself...

Yah thats what I saw in the old Ramayan I was watching and also when Luv and Kush were singing they did talk about a washerman in their song... And Ram got emotional during the song so obviously he had trust in Sita or he would have gotten angry

However as per the Ramcharitramanas (so far I know) Ram was visiting the public in disguise and it was then that he heard a washerman talking about Sita and questioning her chastity. Post this Ram asked Laxman to leave Sita in forest near Rishi Valmiki's (who wrote Ramayan) ashram.

When Sita was pregnant, Ram wished to fulfill her desire if she had any. Sita wished to visit Valmiki Hermitage.Ram agreed. Then Ram (as King) ordered his brothers to report public opinions(not about Sita chastity but normally what they think about kingdom). They told street gossiping about Sita chastity.Ram was deeply hurt. He ordered Lakshman to leave Sita at Valmiki Hermitage and announce her that He can't live with her anymore. While the brothers and minister tried to convince him, he ordered them to obey without spelling their opinions. Then Sita was left at Hermitage and announced Rams verdict. She was hurt. She told lakshman that she would be always there for Ram to fulfill his responsibilities,she would obey him. She added that she was keen to commit suicide when she realized that she couldn't live with Ram anymore but she was pregnant so she would fulfill her responsibility as mother to give birth and raise Raghukul.
