Sorry apologies, it had to be his parents and not her parents and secondly I wrote that because he was uncertain about her acceptance of his separation for 14 years so easily and his uncertainty grew more after seeing one of his mother becoming selfish while other two were hailing for what befallen on them. The separation of one son and their husband's condition. So he could not believe in her words that she will never become a barrier between his duty towards his brother. So he was not in a position to believe in any woman and her words. All he knew about his wife was straight forward and will not take it if her sister is troubled and here her sister had to live a life away from her husband for 14 years and that was because of his father's promise to one of his wife.
Sorry if I elongated it more than required.

Its okay yaar. Thanks for the clarification😊

An extremely well written Post
The sacrifice of all mithila sisters was indeed beyond comparison, while Urmila and Mandavi spent 14 years of their lives without their husbands as hermits , Shrutkirti's childlike innocence was taken over by the responsibilities of managing the raghukul along with her husband.

Great Work ! Keep It up👏

Hi Sangeetha, I do remember you and I realized that it was you when I saw your post in the other thread where you had given account of 3 different version of Ramayan. I really miss the JA forum as it was so lively and informative.
