@Jaya: Quite nice. Brave sisters
On lighter note:
You made Urmila as shakthi but Laxman as Nandi and not shiva, why so yaar? 😉

Jaya so beautifully written and your OS is inline with the analysis we are making in the symbolism thread. I really really loved it 👏👏

Thanks Ramya, for reading and commenting. No I didn't diminish Lakshman to Nandi as he had already made up his mind to accompany his brother and he had also conveyed that message to Ram about his plan, he went to his room to update urmila about the same. Infact ram said that in his words to urmila "he was here to ask Urmila to convince Lakshman to stay back". So if you treat Urmila as Shakthi, her husband is Shiva himself.😊

No yaar. I understood the part.
But I made the statement for these lines of yours
" Lakshman lowered his eyes with shame as he thought so low about her by thinking she may hurt her parents with her words"

Sorry apologies, it had to be his parents and not her parents and secondly I wrote that because he was uncertain about her acceptance of his separation for 14 years so easily and his uncertainty grew more after seeing one of his mother becoming selfish while other two were hailing for what befallen on them. The separation of one son and their husband's condition. So he could not believe in her words that she will never become a barrier between his duty towards his brother. So he was not in a position to believe in any woman and her words. All he knew about his wife was straight forward and will not take it if her sister is troubled and here her sister had to live a life away from her husband for 14 years and that was because of his father's promise to one of his wife.
Sorry if I elongated it more than required.
