Since when does disliking Lakshman's scenes in the show mean we don't like Karan? 😕 Where in this AT have we bashed Karan at all? We all love Karan, but it's a fact that Lakshman's character in those show is extremely fault, as evidenced by the scene today.

People may think we "overreacted", but it's a fact that what's shown is not right. People would be incensed if Ram was shown shoving Sita, and yet we should accept Lakshman doing it, because it's apparently within his character? 😕 Where in Ramayan is it written that Lakshman was known for treating women ill his a pique of anger?

You are spot On , just to overglorify the leads , they just destroy others.

Lakshman;s character should be held as high as Ram and Sita , and so should be of the other siblings

Each one has its own tale of sacrifice and virtue

Exactly.

We all love Karan here, and we appreciate most of his scenes, but when Lakshman is shown wrong, we won't support the scenes just because we're fans. If we did that, we'd be blind fans for supporting wrongly shown scenes. Fans shouldn't accept everything and anything shown on TV.

Right now, Lakshman has been portrayed very wrongly, and as devotees of Ramayana we are all incensed. It has nothing to do with Karan.

In fact, I'd be surprised if Karan and Yukti themselves were not offended filming this scene.

Today's portrayal actually reminded me of some shades of Zee's version , where Lakshman was shown speaking rudely to urmila , but still nothing compared to today , shouting so loudly and shoving her aside .

And on top of that , when you have depicted one of the Heroes of Ramayana in such a state , the very next scene you show the villian as a good natured man

I mean , yes , ravan was a very learned man , but in what version of ramayana did he regret killing shrupnakha's husband

Yes, exactly. There is no need to justify Ravan. In the actual epic, he killed Vidyutkiva out of pure malice and greed. Shurpanakha's anger is actually justified, but CVs are hell bent on justifying Ravan than showing Lakshman properly.

We are offended at the cvs...for ill treating the character of Lakshman...it has nothing to do with Karan! He is a very good actor...and an actor has to act according to the directions...so we r just upset with the cvs...

And I am quite sure that lakshman's character will be butchered again and again

You never know the CV's may may even show him grabbing bharat by his neck when he comes to get them back from forest
