"Life is a journey.
It is very short and
Each of us only gets to make this journey once.
Enjoy the journey!

Life is a journey.
Life's journey is filled with choices.
Whatever choices we have made,
We should be responsible, calm and even brave
When facing the results brought by our own choices ."LEO ZHANG

Shruthi your description of the train journeys made me go back to my childhood...when not only the scenery during the day but the passing lights also had their own charm and beauty. The above lines seemed to embody both Siya And Ram, for they both did have the courage to face up to their choices with dignity.
The scene of the diya was visually and theoretically beautiful, but could have been more effective if all the sisters had joined the discussion{felt a slight disconnect there due to the monologue}.
The scene between Raja Janak and Sunaina felt like a metaphysical discussion between 'mind and the heart'. The heart mired in grief and the mind using logic to heal the heart...When Janak tells her that their daughter has given him the task to teach her Ved-shastras , Sunaina's expression was just out of the world.
I am loving the Shiv-Parvati scenes.Ram and Sita's journey has begun with love, trust, respect and Ma Ganga's blessings. What more could they have asked for?
Sometimes I feel that the trouble we as people gave to Ram and Sita made Krishna the complete opposite. Krishna's love for us never changed, but he stopped listening to our moranic ideas!😆

@Savitha Krishna gave man the choice. Hard choice. Either choose him with freewill without expectations, or his power with expectations. Whatever you choose he will behave accordingly. He will respond only to your choice.
It is said that during infamous hall of dice, when Panchali was calling Krishna she was still holding with her hand a piece of her cloth. Krishna was playing dice with Rukmini at that time and Rukmini told him Panchali is crying, why are you not going. Krishna says it is not yet time. Finally Panchali leaves her cloth and raises both her hands calling him, surrendering to him, trusting him and in that instant Krishna comes.
It is said till you feel I can manage, till even a bit of your ego is there, you wont find him, but when you leave your ego, trust him, call him as the ultimate he will be there.

Prayers is asking god for strength to help us go through what we feel is a difficult situation.
Prayer is asking god to be beside u as u go through.
prayer is asking god to help make the right decision.
Prayers are not for asking him to take away the situation.
and Once you have sent out the prayer, then trust him to be there.

@jayashree what a beautiful definition of prayer. On most occasions I ask for direction or support for task completion.

Yes shruthi I have also heard of the story. When you surrender to him completely ,he shoulders all your burdens and destroys your demons and walks the path with you. But we are not able to do so and like Draupadi call out to him holding on to the cloth representing our ego...
In a discourse about god the guru states that god keeps telling his devotees 'For me to come Your I has to go'!
Just read about a new character to be introduced who along with Manthra is going to cause havoc in the new vadhus' lives...I feel like the character in Asterix that continuously predicts that the sky is falling😆But I really don't want to see the saas bahu drama in skr...

@Shruthi: Good post which mostly reminded by school days.
Again 😡 "I love to travel whether it is Waynad in Kerala or Taj Mahal of Agra or Gate way of India Mumbai or to shopping in T-Nagar Chennai or Commercial street Banglore, to have tea in Thattukada in Kerala, matka chai from a chaiwallah in Mathura, Chat of Calcutta, Badam milk in Adayar Ananda Bhavan and Dosa of Saravana Bhavan. Travel teaches you lot. "
@bold:

Coming to your main point "Yes your ability to enjoy the journey will decide your destination, because if you keep too much focus on destination you will lose the precious moments of the journey and you will be tired when you reach destination and you will not have it in you to take another journey. Dont do it."

Just before reading your post I made a contradictory post😆 though the situation differs, I cant stop comparing.

@Manasa: Arrey yaar its from cartoon channel or pogo? But u reminded me the stolen boat ride of William Wordsworth especially the phrase "troublesome pleasure" that is what is life.

@Savitha as per Kavita Kane's book Sita's sister there is a tiff between urmila and I guess Sita too and mandavi when the latter proceed to Kekaya with her husband.
It says it is the handiwork of Manthara with a dasi so that the sisters are splitted. When she makes the final move to remove Ram, mandavi will stand by her husband, not sister.
But what goes horribly wrong for Manthara is Bharat's reaction and a Mandavi who returns to see one of her sister in vanvass and other left bereft in palace. And then the whole plan back fires.
