another very enlightening episode, where Rama shared his views on the true meaning of marriage ...
And on the significance of matching patrikas :

The fact that all 36 gunas of Rama and Sita match, gives the 3 mamas a chance to adao their leg as meeting of all 36 gunas can lead to a lot of strife in marriage

But through Rama, we got to hear a beautiful interpretation of the patrika matching - these are only indicative, and can help the couple to be to be better prepared for marriage - true happiness doesn't lie in the patrikas, it lies in the two working together, respecting the qualities of each.

And how beautifully he goes on explain the meaning of marriage - that of shared responsibilities, duties and commitment - that of always working together - love with a common purpose doesn't lead to happiness, it a sense of common purpose and the mission to raise a family that leads to a true marriage.

I think he was so right, when the first flush of romance ebbs away, the thing that keeps a marriage happy is their common goals of building a family, securing a future, caring for aging parents, sharing the joys and sorrows of families on both sides that makes marriage such a complete relationship !

Once again, Rama's greatness lies, not in big miracles, but in his wisdom and in explaining the true significance of life and it's complexities !

Another beautiful scene was Sita's words as she gave her permission to her father to take the patrika - her trust in her fathers judgement, and her faith that he would always to the best by her, because he has always kept her happiness as a priority - were really well written.

Of course, also enjoyed the cute reunion of the brothers! So all in all another good episode - and a good lesson in family values !

Both the scenes u mentioned where lovely today
The way Vashista was proud of Ram
When he said to the mamas that Ram can give answers
People who are so crazy about horoscope matchs
Should watch this ep
How many lives get spoiled in the name of Horscopes

Sita Janak scene was touching
If freedom is provided to the children by Parents
Children in-turn do the same to the parents
It develops trust and respect😃

I loved how Sita gave her father the permission not just because he was her father but because, he was a good father.
She trusts him not just because it's her duty but also because he has gained her trust. Janak is also a great father, he never forces anything upon his daughters, he makes sure they are happy first. And that's why he has their trust.

@Arshics a very beautiful post for a very beautiful episode. The dialogue writers are doing a fab job with Ram's dialogues. See when Krishna breaks rules, we know he is breaking rules, he creates illusion for other's to break the rule first
But Ram he is also breaking the rules creating an illusion no rule is broken. Yes he is breaking the unnecessary physical barriers, meaningless rituals and pradhas in his own way but keeping the essence of the rule, rituals and pradhas.
Today also someone told 36 gun Milan can be disastrous. Yes many challenges came in Ram-Siya life. Together with a sense of purpose, sense of duty they overcame all challenges. Their love for each other transcended the physical barriers and even while apart they truly belonged to each other. That is what marriage is, even when they say chance of failure with your commitment, with your actions you make it a success.
@Mano horoscope matching is a problem because people speak with half knowledge. And secondly now it has become fanatical because of increase in divorces. Without trying to sort out the real cause of the divorce, the attitude shift that is needed for society towards girls who are now educated and want respect in a marriage horoscope is treated as a one stop remedy. And when that doesn't work horoscope is blamed. And yes many girls life's are still getting ruined because of the fanatical use in the name of doshas and some specific stars.

beautiful post arshi , the episode was wonderful , reminded me of dkdm

definitely its the purpose and the sense of duty that keeps a marriage alive , conflicts might happen but they only make the hazy path clear .

This is the best part for me , I love this show coz they portray Ram as a great HumanBeing than as God with supernatural powers. this Inspires Me a lot !

ALl the Janak and Sita scenes are beautiful .
I loved the dialogues #Thanksgiving .
What else a father can ask more than this ?

Loved your post !
Love,

This is the most pathetic part
This happened with two of my friends
And they are real gems
(They are married now)
Any family would be blessed to have them as their DIL's
But when Horoscope becomes first priority
Everything else like Character,Family all takes a back seat
Like u said it's that the guiding light
When people find a girl with Good upbringing and balanced nature
Why not ignore horoscope
And also,it's girls who gets effected most
Though few Men do face it
It's comparatively very less
When both have horoscope
why is it that women get affected the most🤢
