Also the story of Attukal Devi is that, Kanaki after destroying Mathura came to Attukal and seeing the Goddess in anger the woman around the temple made pongala to pacify her.So Pongala is so special for the Goddess. Hence from the first day of the festival Kannakipuranam called thottam pattu is recited in the temple till the 10th day.

Very recently I visited Vaidheeswaran Koil !
It is lord Shiva the central deity here.
you just need to give your thumb impression.
they ll tell you all your present , past and future including your name and parents name.
(Astonishing , but yes thats true , I tried n It was successful )

There is another temple of Shani bhagwaan in thirunallar !
It is contructed by King nala , the story of this King is quite captivating.

I have visited madhurai , rameswaram , kumbakonam as well.
Tamil Nadu is such an excellent place with so many temples.
I would like to revisit TM again for sure.

As this is siya ram forum..i wanted to share some place where it is related to siya ram...
The place is badrachalam ,AP (now telangana) this place is famous here for all siya ram bhakth...
This temple has idols of ram sita lakmn and hanuman..they say that this temple was const by ramdas great devotee of lord ram..where the idols were not craved but they were found in the forest nearby...and along with temple there exists place where they say that during vanvas they stayed there and we can see the place where sitas clothes were dried ( we can see the print of a cloth dried there engraved on the big rock) and also can see the chair ram used to sit and many statues were present describing the situations happened there)

The environment in the temple is very Devine there..
.so nice place..
We can also see the best scenery there river btw hills...they call it as papikondalu..and we can go by boat...they say they used to travel very freq through that river...

Beautiful. I heard about thirunallur, but not seen so far. Our experience in naadi astrology seems to be true😉. In the branch office in chennai, even foreigners especially Japanese used to visit often.
Good do visit TN often and share more info.
