@jayashree yesterday Sita in front of Ram need not have been so nervous and I would have preferred her to stay silent on the food, and Urmila or one of the sisters to poke the question. There is a certain level of dignity that needs to be presented in Sita. Her inner strength being the core. She was dignified in the cliff scene and was dignified in the swayamvar scene also. I also liked her interaction with Urmila yesterday.
But meal serving they could have done it little more subtly.

Shruthi, I want SKR to show various aspects of Sita that makes her a divine household name. .
When I pray to sita want her patience her gentleness, her all encompassing love to flow into me.
When I pray to Durga, I want her fiery strength, her fight againstf men who think women are mere sexual toy

@jayashree not only you. I also want that. Not only Sita, but also Ram. I want SKR to show why they are treated ideal couples. Every aspect of Ram that makes him Maryadapurushottam and every aspect of Sita that makes her a Sthree Ratna.

^^definitely what makes them different from modern day couples who think even the epics had this why not us forgetting their age and relational ties , but they forget that its not about age but adarsh (values )

what we as females need to break is those old , rusty norms which chain us , which bind us in shackles . we respect the relations and their values , but not those rules that undermine our individuality

@charvi I was reading Amish Tripathi's " Scion of Ishkavu" a modern retelling of Ramayana. I have a lot of disagreements and criticisms about the book but one thing I loved in that book. Law has to be the same is the ideal of Rama. So the question is what is law. Is it the physical law that the society has or those invisible laws society has used to shackle women or the true laws of nature.
I would say laws of nature. Essence of the action has to be obeyed. Because these laws don't change. But it is for us to understand these fundamental laws and base our life on that.

well said . definitely di the laws are needed to maintain a proper balance in society and the required social order but if the laws of society bound you then they need to be changed .
a major question that I am unable to solve is to answer is what is right and what is wrong ?
because when I keep myself on others places I fnd them also right , its hard for me to judge .
again the water aspect comes out I incorporate everything 😆

@charvi actually there is a very thin line between action based on selfishness and that of selflessnessnes. I know everyone has a POV and from their POV they are right. But for me the guiding light always has been the choice Arjuna got before the war. Between the wealth and power, and Krishna without weapon. Whenever I am with conflicting choices, I go with my heart just like Arjuna did.
