Makeup!! Cvs if you are reading!! Tone it down - Page 2

Yeah infact all 4of them had way too much foundation ...it made them look like chinese dolls

Oh good to know it's not just me...her make-up is horribly heavy, bright and caked on...totally kills the purpose of them trying to show Sita as a divine, ethereal kind of beauty when they play up such artificiality.

Madirakshi seems like a naturally pretty girl, so I don't get why they use such heavy make up on her.


Apart from the make-up, I also feel they need to tone down some expressions for Sita...don't see the need for her to be giving chest-heaving heavy breathing reactions to any mention of Ram's name...they can show the divine connection b/w Ram-Sita without making Sita behave in such a loud fashion.

Oh and to add to this...are they on a budget crunch? Seems like Sita only owns 3 outfits total...they repeat that yellow/peach one on her the most and today they repeated the outfit she wore to the Gauri pooja two weeks back. Surely they can rotate more outfits for her. 😕...I personally feel today's simple lunch scene didn't require such a loud outfit for Sita...or maybe it was the horribly bright lipstick that was making it worse...in the scene when she was preparing lunch in the kitchen, the hairdo they'd given her was horrible too with these longg curls trailing down the sides of her face...didn't suit her.


And Ramji also is still wearing the same outfit he wore to the Swayamwar...lol so he didn't pack any clothes for this trip despite being a royal prince and all?😆


Makeup/styling in this show is surprisingly poor...DKD didn't have it this bad...I expected that level of standard for this show too.

They are repeating the outfits, that too so often
She has one light blue coloured dress with pearl jwell , one yellow, that gauri Puja one and one more I guess which they use less and of course Swayamvar one ...
Even Kaikai wears the same outfit mostly...
And Ramji wore this particular outfit in Ahilya uddhar episodes too, if I am not wrong

I've been noticing it for a while now but was letting it go thinking they will improve the outfits once they get married maybe😆

But today seeing the Gauri Pooja and Swayamwar outfits repeated so quickly I was just😕😆

Sita's outfits are surprisingly meager in number considering she's the main lead...and I personally think her styling is very poorly done...her ghaghra-cholis are not flattering on her and even the jewellery is strange looking😕...this one with big pearl shaped orbs or something.

I can understand if the side characters have repeated outfits...but shockingly enough the leads don't have much variation either...they really need to improve Sita's styling and makeup especially...Ramji still has it ok cuz he looks good in whatever they put him in usually...but they need to take more care with how they present Sita.

The red colour almost made me faint...😆

And the hair is way too puffed up, I feel! I doubt women back then had puffed up hair unless they were frizzy!! 😆

I thought that maybe they wanted to show mithila more close to nature hence the costumes were light and simple ..
And I am expecting to see better outfits as she reaches Ayodhya..

Yes I hope they work on Sita's outfit and tone down her makeup, she is naturally beautiful no need of heavy makeup... Ramji's outfits are actually good and number is also more 😆 but they really need to stop putting that lipstick on him 😆
