Episode 59: Know Thyself

We have come to the ned of Swaymavar with this episode

But Parasuram enters

I found the actor very loud

It kind of reduced the beauty of the episode

Nevertheless it was a good episode

Lakshman Protective of his elder brother

Replying/giving back to Parasuram

Worried Janak,Sunaina and Sita's sisters

A terrified Sita

Ever smiling Ram

An the yelling Parasuram

makes this episode

The sabhagrah is vibrating with gaiety...

Ram and Siya are trying to hold their happiness within their eyes...

but fail...its all over...

Love is in the ambience...

spreading joy and smiles...

Lord Shiva watches with immense satisfaction...

Ma Parvati questions...

Bhagwan Ram is brahm...avinashi...

he lives in our hearts...

why has he taken form of a human...

Shiva smiles and answers that reasons could be many..some too complicated to be understood by anyone...

But Narayan takes avtaar when adharma spreads its roots...

He takes human form for the uddhaar of mankind...

to bring dharma back to its glorious state...

for the relief of the mankind...to lessen their sufferings he appears..

Parvatiji asks but why as Ram bhagwan...

Shiva beautifully explains...

God has taken human form for the most noble cause...

Ram would, through his life,set an example for the humanity..

He would prove to the world that

even in the most difficult and challenging times

it is possible to lead a life of truth ..

a life of morality ...

And that to help such kind souls Gods,

humans and other beings are always present...

always around for this noble cause...

He has shouldered an awesome responsibility...

His life would serve as an example...

In him the coming generations would see their vedas ,

their dharma...

Humanity would follow him...

experience is greatness...

Together this divine couple would lead the most beautiful life full of selflessness...full of sacrifice...an example for all...

Urmila bubbling with happiness whispers to Sita that

her dream was fulfilled and her milan with her soulmate

was to happen...it couldnt be stopped anymore...

All of a sudden a loud resounding voice

dripping with rage is heard by all...

Guru Parshuram in all his fury enters the hall...

he is uncontrolled and filled with anger...

King Janak welcomes him but Parshuram

rudely ignores him...

In shock he looks at the broken bow...

Who has dared to break the divine dhanusha...

he roars in anger..

Who wishes to die an untimely death...

Janak tries to reason with him...

It was as per your instructions Guru...

the swayamvar ceremony and the stringing of the bow...

Parshuram growls that breaking of the bow was not talked about...

who has commited the paap of breaking of my lord's bow...

come and face my wrath..Who is it...answer me...

Annoyed by Parshuram's tirade Laxmananswers him back...

Lord we would answer but

your questions dont come to an end...

You have come at a most joyous occasion and

it isnt right to be so angry...

Guru Parshuram's anger knows no bounds...

You are so ill mannered balak...

don't you fear my anger...aren't you aware of my identity...

Laxman retorts..."I am fully aware Guru...

you are a balbrahmchari ...

you had made a massacre of many kshatriyas ...

many warriors...how would I not know you."

Guru Vishwamitra intervenes ...

"My pranam to you Guru...

these are ram and Laxman...princes of Ayodhya..

Urmila is greatly worried for Ram and Laxman...

They all are aware of his wrath...

Both the prince bow with folded hands...

This imprudent brat is not worthy of my blessings...

roars Parshuram...

I want to punish the one who has done this paap...

he must come forward...

Laxman is filled with rage...

he wants to protect his brother..

During our childhood we broke many bows...

then you never became angry...

why are you being so possessive about it,He argues...

Parshuram furiously points out that this wasn't an ordinary bow...

it was divine..Can you not differentiate between the two...

He threatened to destroy everything...

He ignores Vishwamitra,s plea to forgive the young princes...

Ram with a gentle smile moves forward...

With folded hands he states that

it has never been his intention to break the bow ...

it broke accidentally...

Ram seeks guru's forgiveness...

gently he requests him to bless him with his mercy...

Guru Parshuram, livid and furious,

accuses Ram of deceiving him with his sweet words..

He challenges him to fight him...

Ram ever calm and composed urges that elders always forgive the youngsters...He was his Prabhu and him his devotee...

between god and his devotee war wasn't needed...

Parshuram roars that he had insulted Shiva by breaking the bow...

Ram answers humbly that a divine symbol can be insulted only when its wrongly used as a sign of one's self esteem and ego...

The kings had made it a symbol of their greatness and valour...

I apologize if I have hurt your sentiments...

Parshuram looses all his control and calls Ram arrogant and imprudent...

He challenges Ram to fight with him...

They face each other...

one an embodiment of calmness,

peace ,grace and empathy,karuna unparalleled...

Other wrathful...cursed with ungovernable emotions,

uncontrolled anger...All tremble in fear..

Raavan reliving his moments of humiliation and

defeat charges towards the Natraja...

Mahadev,That bow was mine to win...

He roars arrogantly...

I was your most sincere devotee all these years..

You should have protected me but I ,

the greatest King of the three worlds couldn't lift the bow...

I was mocked and laughed at publically...

You are not needed here...you may leave...

Little did the haughty Raavan know that

he was inviting his own doom...

Instead of correcting himself he was accusing his God...
