In Arshics post yesterday itself I had mentioned never to walk past a plea. And today Ram gave it much more meaningfully and made walking past the plea the biggest sin.
And he set the example to the world by listening to the woman's plea. Ahalya whom the society has oscatrizied , whom the society was calling cursed got the chaturbhuj darshan of Vishnu for which Rishis do penance for years together.
Lord himself bowed down in front of her asking sorry in the name of society who did injustice to her. We need to understand one thing. We are no one to decide about sins, who is right , who is wrong without understanding the circumstances. Stone has to be thrown only by the person who has not done any wrong. That scene of Ahalya getting divine darshan is the proof of the ignorance of the human race of what is right , what is wrong.
Now coming to my main topic of helping. We need to understand that if someone is coming to us for help it is because we have the power to help them. Help need not be monetary alone. Even if we sit, listen to that person's plight, offer a shoulder just to cry, to put forth their worries that is also help.
We can speak words of encouragement, we can mentor, we can just show a direction it all becomes help.
Many times fearing the society, fearing the aftermath we dont help people in need. Classic case is not helping an accident victim in the road because we fear police case. But a life is at stake and our timely help can save a life, restore a family. But how many are willing to do it. Yes it has changed a bit now. There are good samaritans helping around with Supreme court's order not to harass the good samaritans by police.
We need to understand what goes around comes around. The help you give to the one in need without any considerations is your biggest defense when a problem comes.
When you walk past a plea understand that the plea is the God's way of setting up your defense . And you choose to ignore it. Then how will he help you when you need it the most.
Understand his ways , a problem wont trouble you.
