So I guess I dont have to delve into what Sita said to Urmila today as I had pretty much covered everything in yesterday's post. Sita in Gowri Mandir also I slip as I have already written OS on that in tuna's drabble thread.
I will stick today to the question posed to Janak that isnt lifting Shiv Dhanush difficult. And Janak says if Sita can lift it, there has to be one more person who should be able to do that.
In that lies the message that for any special gift that is bestowed on you, there will be someone else on whom nature has the bestowed the same gift. That is why it is said that Prakriti and Purush is complete. Prakriti Purush ke bina adhuri hai or Purush Prakriti ke bina.
When it comes to marriage it is very important to identify your special gift and that is exactly where the youngsters need direction or guidance.
Marriage is a marathon which the partners need to run together and to run together you need to have similar abilities. The core values have bought Sita-Ram together in their minds. Now the question is how to prove to the world they are exactly made for each other. Value is not something you can prove. It is abstract. Look at Kaikeyi who asks is the daughter of Mithila right for Ayodhya. Kausalya too seems doubtful. They feel it that way because the lifestyle of Mithila and Ayodhya are different.
Simplicity of Mithila may not gel with the grandeour of Ayodhya. So in a marriage proof is needed a couple are indeed made for each other. And ability is exactly that. Because it is solid.
You can say values are the inner cover that brings the best match, then ability is the outer cover that proves to the world that it is the best match. Inner is most important, but you cannot ignore outer.
Because though the hearts of Ram-Sita has met, it has to be solemnized in front of the society for various reasons. Primary being for the girl to get the status and rights of the wife and the offsprings born under the union gets the recognition in the society, love and attention of both parents and the couple remains committed and accountable in the relation for the welfare of the family as well as the society.
So that's why qualification, job etc plays an important role in deciding about the marriage. Because values are fine, but for sustenance job plays an important role. So both has to be matched appropriately. And no one should worry someone has a different job, difficult job, they are dancer, painter, actor anything, because the special gift that is endowed to you, there will always be a match that is made for it. And it will come in front of you at the right time
