Hi all!
I am a new fan of this show. Been watching for the past few episodes and I am awe-struck by the simplicity in the story telling and the grandeur in execution.

Watching this show is like meditating. There is something thought provoking in each episode. The music is soothing and the imagery is pleasant. This is one show that draws me by the power in storytelling...and even though I am looking forward to Ashish as Ram, I am going to miss the child artists dearly.

I think what drew me most and sealed the show as a must-watch was the Jagat Satyam chant. Though I found some things about the devotees a little weird, what struck me most was how eager Ram was to learn a new concept that was rejected out of fear or disdain or both. He didn't find any shame in finding a new Guru here...who taught him something valuable...To the extent that his understanding and treatment of the same concept ashamed the teacher himself.

It had been all about love. How love triumphs over everything else...

...And for the first time, it made me look up to Ram. This would be the very same Ram who was forced to let his beloved go through Agnipareeksha...but their journey to that point, told through a different perspective is quite engaging.😳

Jagat Satyam Brahmam Mithya.

More like a Hippie chant we could look down on. ..Where Worldliness was hailed over spirituality. Utmost annoying to see people wasting their time chanting songs and dancing...Was it to serve as a quiet reminder of the fake gurus of our times? This is where the application of this age old epic to this very day and Age struck me.

And what did Ram do?

He did not look down on this set of odd- looking people. Neither did he try to change them. In fact, he drew a positive experience from a sect that denounced spirituality- the very essence of Ram's creation. He was an eager student on a journey...He had acquired a new knowledge. And his fearless application of that new knowledge solved a long standing issue between his father and his mother. Even the proponent of the theory was amazed by how practically the message of love for humanity could be spread...without strife or bitterness...As it SHOULD BE!

I hope the writing continues to inspire and delight...It is a pleasure jotting down a few refreshing thoughts on what has so far been portrayed excellently. 😳 Kudos to the Makers!šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

Thanks for such a lovely post..." Jagat Satyam Brahmam Mithya " was so overwhelmingly picturised ,gave me goosebumps all over ...every time Raja Janak speaks ,I get mesmerized.
Young Ram did exceedingly well...come to think of it, each and every character has done full justice to their respective roles.
Looking forward to seeing you here regularly.šŸ¤—

Thats quite a warm welcome. Thank U.😳 I am really looking forward to some meaningful concepts from the makers. Never felt so positive about a show before.😊

Each and every character is etched out so perfectly...Janak is my favourite too..There is so much calmness..No wonder he is called Rajarshi..so sagely. Such a wise father for Siya to have.

Great post.
Hope to see more of you here.

I second your thoughts.

The entire Rama - Jabali track was excellently conceptualized.

Distortions to the original / popular renditions, aside, hope the show continues to give us such beautiful sequences / learnings / lessons., in order we understand the story of Rama and Sita in a little more depth.,

Indeed, we may not understand Lord Rama in full, in our life's entirety, but I feel, any such small attempt to try to understand can only be appreciated.

Jabali! I had forgotten the name actually. Thanks.😳

Exactly. It is an attempt to simplify...and it is the journey as a human being...that concept in itself is interesting. ..about how he was actually learning through one life time...how it is to live as a human being.
And also he is giving us an example on how these situations can be handled on a daily basis. Till Jabali came, I was occasionally tuning in. But that track was quite striking...raw and powerful.
