Hey guys...
I am watching the show, but I am not very well versed with Ramayan as I am with Mahabharat.. so I had a doubt regarding Shanta and what they are showing in the show.
I wouldreally want to know more about Ramayan so my doubt is this..
As fas as IK, I guess Dasharath had no children till he got the curse from Shravan Kumar's blind parents.. (I know them as Andhamuni as I have read Bengali Ramayan). He got curse that he will also suffer as much for putrashok or the pain of losing his son..and then he did putreshti yajna..and was blessed with the four sons. So now I read that Shanta was Dasharath's daughter. Then why is it said he had no children? Or is it that he had Shanta buthe did not have a male heir to his kingdom? Is it so?
