Hi Guys,
I just watched the episode and here is the top five...1) Governance: So, who is a king? or What is a government? Are citizens there for the king/government or is it other way?For a moment, let us think of a situation where there is no king or government. So, we are living in a society. We need roads for transportation, we need hospitals for the health, we need police and army for our safety so on and so forth. So, what do we do? We create a central body of people who are from our own society and give them the responsibility (not authority) to carry out the tasks of providing basic facilities like water, light, safety, development etc etc. In order to carry out these tasks they need funds, they need to pay salaries for all the people involved. Since it is us, the society in need of these things, we also pay them money in the form of tax. Simple enough? So, why is that this system is not functioning properly? Where did we go wrong? And why few sections of the society is always neglected? For example, there is this growing apathy towards our farmers, who are essentially the backbone of this economy! It is disheartening to see so many of them committing suicides. How bad their lives must be for them to take such drastic measures!2) Discrimination: This is there since ages now and not just restricted to our country. This is shame on the entire humanity, the entire world. We discriminate based on the gender, caste, religion, skin color, status, money...the list goes on... We really need to move away from this and be the human we can be. We as human beings are capable of thinking, of being rational, of being kind, of being compassionate. We just need to tap into that, deep within and evolve.3) Inner Peace: In the words of Master Shifu "Every one must find their own path of inner peace. Some find it through meditation, some through pain and suffering..." Inner peace is a state of mind. It is not related to the outside comforts. You can sleep on the softest of the mattress, eat richest of the food and you may still not find your peace. Always strive for the peace within your soul...4) Wait and Hope: I am clubbing both of this into since both are related to each other.Hope is what makes us look forward to new days, our future. Hope is what makes us go on, even in the middle of our problems, issues. We should never lose hope.It is especially difficult when you are waiting for your loved ones to come back. But, at the same time, we should never neglect to take care of ourselves. Always remember that when we are unhealthy, suffering, it is our loved ones who would feel the pain.5) Following your parent's footsteps: Do we blindly follow them without questioning? Or we see what they do, and try to think for ourselves before doing anything? When a mother takes care of his sister, a daughter emulates her, because it is the right thing to do and not just because the mother has done it. When you know what your father doing not right, you question him and try to understand the situation, instead of blindly accepting it. That does not mean to love them any less.Loving a person does not mean you are blind to their faults. Every person has flaws and good things. No one is perfect. Loving a person is accepting them as a whole, including all their flaws. Love them despite of it.LoveKshithi

Once again a great post. All your points are bang on. The first point about governance is so true. What's the point in having a government which is unable to meet the needs of it's people. Either the government is ignorant or there's something very wrong with it.There's discrimination every where. If you discriminate between your children they too will desert you one day. It's really very sad that as humans we are unable to change ourselves.Inner peace is very important. I have a cousin who got married into a very rich family. But, she's not allowed to meet her mom. She has to do what her in laws and husband wants. Even after having everything she doesn't have inner peace. We should never lose hope. If we lose hope we stop living. So, instead of brooding about the past it's better to let go and wait and hope for a better tomorrow.Your last point of following our parents footsteps blindly. All of us follow our parents footsteps. But, while doing we have to make sure whether whatever they did was right or wrong. We should learn from their mistakes instead of making the same mistakes again and again. By not following their footsteps won't decrease our love for them.
Great take...Khsithi 👏
As usual !After reading your takes, my understanding of what they are trying to portray, becomes much more clear 😃---------Reg, a King and the Governance, in y/day's episode, questions are yet to be answered ( For Rama as well as Us)'Waiting Hopefully' for Inner Peace 😳
