I would say yesterday's epi belonged to Ram. They clearly established Ram's character as different. There were all shades in it. When the chariots enter Ayodhya his brother's sees the prosperity of Ayodhya in tall buildings. They are so mesmerized in tall buildings and think that in their absence their kingdom has really prospered. And Ram his eyes fall on the old beggar woman, the man who pulls the cart and the young man becomes empathetic. His eyes shows empathy, concern. The tall buildings and opulence didn't distract Ram from seeing the misery of people or the reality of things in Ayodhya. The quality required for a king. Empathy and focus.
Then he sees a man Jabali who proclaims there is no God, there is no use of doing Pooja. Who sees God in human. Again his brother's wonder why this man is telling such a lie and how he got so many followers. Again Ram he goes and bows before Jabali. And tells him he is bowing because of respect. And Jabali who is challenging everyone with his POV respects the young prince and tells him to come to him if he has any questions. Bowing before knowledge maybe knowledge different from you is a mark of humility. Another aspect a king needs.
And last but not least when Dasrath says as per rule they cannot meet their mothers before dawn his brother's are crestfallen, but Ram obeys it with a smile. Adherance to rule.
Ram's character as an emphathetic, humble and obedient Prince was beautifully established through the scenes yesterday. Well done CVs.

Very well taken Shruthi. Yes, RAm was totally different from that of his brothers. He see through the lives than the material aspects and that is how he could see only those who were in need of care takers. When his brothers were rejoicing the changes in the city where the big buildings were replaced the parks, Ram saw the aged lady who was unable to walk, the weak and withered man pulling the cart which is more than his strength and was making mental note of the same for the future actions or discussions. Even though he was disheartened on learning that they can't meet their mothers immediately, he was fast to recover and realized that there shall be some reason for them not to enter the palace and meet the mothers and so he assured his father with a smile.

I could visualize Ram discussing with Rishi Jabali in future to enhance his knowledge.

@Shruthi: Once again beautiful analysis. Though I completely liked the behaviour of Ram, I felt even Bharath should be shown somewhat with these qualities.
Seeing Jabali, I misunderstood him as an atheist of that yuga. Actually I feel he practiced advaitham.
I hope they portray the concept of Dvaitham, Advaitham and visishta advaitham on a high note. Thats the beauty in hinduism (Name of the religion was much later than those classifications).

On lighter note: Today no arguments/question, I myself shocked. 😆 Expecting once again heavy rain in my place.

True, Shruthi, the episode belonged to ram, the silent one, as opposed to Sita the questioning one.
He sees, he feels and he cares. He also is not impressed by worldly riches, he is moved by suffering more.

Yesterday's episode also touched briefly on something that today has become a major problem - due to progress the park that the children played in has been converted into a market place.

I don't think jabali was a atheist. I think he was one a rationalist, and two he does not believe in rituals and andhvishwas.

Shruthi, what confused me about yesterday's episode was the dichotomy between the superstition on one hand and rationalism on the other

If the show is taking a rational stand point, then the nag devta appeasement by Sita and link to war, was out of place.

As for Sita going to war, I am not very convinced about it, will wait to see how it unravels and will wait for your post on it.

@Ramya Jabali's song though conveyed aesthism, but his questions to priests were pointing towards Advaitham. Yaa I also want to know Advaitham, Dwaitham from a practical purpose. Hinduism is a later name. It was called Sanathana Dharma in earlier period if I am right. And the beauty of Sanathana Dharma was the co-existence of multiple philosophies, freedom on the choice of worship, balance in nature and many other positive attributes. We actually live in the land of Sanathana Dharma, the cradle of harmonious co-existence. And its time the next generation understood the glory of this land in its true sense.

@Arshics Nagadevata coming hopefully I feel they will show in a positive light. As a protective force than a harming force. As Janak says if you need to have blind faith have it in something good. And Sita appeasing Nagdevata my take is this.
It is only we humans who attack others needlessly for our selfish motives. Animals attack either for food or for defense. I would say Sita the daughter of nature used this principle. With her bowing before Nagdevata she gave the impulse to the snake that she is not going to attack it or harm it. We need to understand that Sanathana dharma believes animals and plants also have language. Nature has its own language. Sita is a girl who understands that language and communicates in that language. I will tell the lines of beautiful tamil song from the movie Mozhi
Is the language of wind sound or music
Is the language of flower colour or fragrance
Is the language of sea waves or froath
Is the language of love eyes or lips
Understand the language of nature and you will not need the language of humans
When the wind blows there is no direction, when love speaks there is no words
For the wind you cant create a form, to speak the language of love words are not enough
When truth is silent, tears become the word
And feminity becomes silent, blush become word
This is not complete transalation. I have put what I remember now. But basically it is about communicating without words with nature.

@bold: I didn't know it. I thought we had only shaivism, vaishnavism and shaktism and not as a single religion.
Being myself a vaishnavite, I find it very difficult to follow visishta advaitham, but Dvaitham and advaitham are comparatively easy to follow. Hope to get the root of these fundamentals.

@Ramya I also belong to Vaishnavaite line of worship, but have tried to understand shaivism and Shaktism also. Can you tell about Visistha advaitham. I don't know about that.

Very nice points you written👏, yes i was also seeing, Ram is little different, Which makes us different thats our thoughts or Ram thoughts is shown up different way, first he tries to understand front person, view, or he seeing other accepts of life, he felt pain to seeing old lady, he happy seeing progressed of Ayodhaya, but, seeing jabbali, or old lady, he wants to know cause why jabbali is saying this, if developments is came Ayodhaya so why this old lady, feeling too much pain.

jabali says, world is true, or Brahm is false, but Bharat not liked this, or Ram not reacted this, because he wants to know cause,

Is Ram +Jabali interaction again will clear, Jabali doubts, or he will sing Brahm True or Jagat Mithaya.

so Rule imp also shown , Other side, Mithala girls also learning, new way of life, or this side also, values also setting up, or boys.

i liked how they showing both sides Boys +girls bringing Up, this time demand also.

Boys +girls both need Right edcation Right values, Sita wants to go with father for War,
is nt not exciting. lets see how this fold.

but which way janak showing broad, liked he says we should not belive superstitions,
we should see matters poistive manner.

which way sita shown brave, or saved sister life give message, sita wisdom +will power

or love for other creatuors. she used loved +pray method, for snake, she sielented others
& then did sielent action. patiancefully.

See Ram +sita qualites, same, sita also not harm snake, wants to save, other side Ram also seeing old woman or feeling pain so both are kind. or sita used love language, previous she was hearing, cow finding time vibrations from earth,;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;it means she is aware of sounds of creaturs, maybee her connection from earth, so her sick sense very fast.
or creatures also understanding her love language.
