Bua throws the chunni over Suhaani head and the latter asks what’s going on Bua says her roka is tomorrow so hence all the preparations 😆 Suhaani stands up and says she has a project tomorrow but Bua disregards that and says there no auspicious date after tomorrow 🤪 sure there isn’t 🤣🤪
Ishaan asks why Suhaani is getting married so early and that she’s studying. But Bua tells him to be quiet and that he doesn’t know anything 😡 she says it’s more important for a girl to get settled than study 🤢👎🏼 okay then what about your own daughter 🤣 go get her married why are you meddling here 🤢 what a hypocrite 🤪
Bua keeps talking and giving orders 🤪 Suhaani gets upset and picks up her trophy, under all the roka stuff, a neat symbolic image 😊😭 she goes upstairs and recalls the felicitation ceremony 😭
Ranveer is making another drawing of her again 😆 this time with a doctors coat on we stay at Suhaani’s house, and Sudha comes to see her. Suhaani says everything is over and Sudha says no 🤪🤣 Sudha is just making it harder for her to say something 🤔 😭
At least Ranveer is the only constant support she has 😳 he picks up his books and calls her 😊 Sudha leaves her alone to talk 😆 Ranveer is glad she picked up and thinks her family must be so happy to hear about the news of her result 😊 Suhaani looks at the trophy and lies about the context of the celebration 😭 he reminds her about the project, and tells her story to motivate her glad they haven’t forgotten about the football thing 😆 Ranveer says he prepared some notes for her and is coming to give them to her, but she refuses 🤣 she turns on the radio and says everyone is busy in celebration 😆 she suggests to send her photos of the notes instead 😆 Ranveer asks if she’s sure and she’s not hiding anything right 🤣 oh yes she is 🤣 but she says no. Soon he hangs up.
Bua comes in and takes her phone for the day and turns it off 🤪😡 she shows no care about the project and leaves someone get rid of her
3 idiots are in a classroom and Ranveer is setting up his revision space 🤣 he notices she’s late and worries 😲 he says whenever there’s something important she’s always in some problem 🤣 not wrong there Ranveer 🤣 John and Raghu think it’s maybe because her family partied late 🤣 Ranveer is like she’s not like us 🤣 she’s more disciplined 🤣 calling her doesn’t work
Sudha and dadi are arranging things. Dadi has second thoughts and wonders if they are rushing things 😆 but then she says it’s good anyways 🤔 Rakesh finally shows up and brings gifts and stuff 🤪 Bua and Nikki are too happy about this and seems like they plotted this whole thing 🤡😡 the boy’s family is a fraud I’m guessing
Sudha’s phone rings and it’s Ranveer. He asks about Suhaani and the former says she can’t make it he hears the word sagaai over the phone and starts to leave the classroom when Ansh comes there with a box of sweets 🤣 how does he know about this engagement 🤣 Ranveer says to say things clearly and Ansh tells him about the engagement Ranveer leaves in for a rage after Ansh taunts him 😆 meanwhile Ansh shows the sweets to Riya who’s too happy about this situation 🤢 She calls Vikrant to tell him the news 🤪🤡 disgusting 🤡 I wouldn’t wish this kind of friendship upon my worst enemy 🤢
Vikrant is too happy and this and goes to Mamta. He asks if she talked to Ranveer and she says she tried but left it seeing his mood 😆 Vikrant is impatient and says he is fed up with her not doing anything right Dadu comes and yells at him, and says to talk to Ranveer you need opportunity and mood 🤣 Glad someone like Dadu is in this house 😆
Suhaani is sitting in her room, ready but within a lost and defeated look in her eyes. 😭 Ranveer is coming as well. The episode ends there.
I’m trying to understand this situation more from Suhaani’s and her home life’s perspective. Often times we tend to think from our own life experiences and what we want a character to do in certain situations, but fail to look deeper into the character and their experiences themselves. Before you throw your tomatoes at me, let me put my thoughts down. 🤣 Then I will take the tomatoes happily. 🤣
Maybe somewhere she was trying to delay this roka with the project excuse, but who can say that for sure? On top of that, Rakesh wasn’t even home until it was too late. How convenient. Sudha dealt the grim reaper card in the previous episode, Bua won’t stop talking over others and even took Suhaani’s phone, Dadi thinks differently for a moment but then thinks it will be good for Suhaani, the list goes on. Ishaan even questioned why this is happening now and he got shut down so quickly, right in front of her. More demotivation. In this kind of household, at least from my personal experience, Ishaan saying something would mean more, but even he was ignored. Though I’m disappointed that Suhaani didn’t speak up, the look on her face at the end of the episode tells me she’s already resigned to her fate because she doesn’t want to see Rakesh’s health deteriorate over his (illogical) stressors. Fear is a powerful motivator. I feel bad for her.
If even Sudha won’t side with her, then what makes her think Rakesh will? Sudha was at her side when she asked Rakesh to allow her to study at the college. She wasn’t alone. There was someone to back her if needed, something that is very much needed I think in a conservative household like that. Ishaan doesn’t have enough screen space to fulfill this kind of role, unfortunately. So here, she is alone. No matter what she says, these events will happen. These people won’t listen, even her biggest support. I think she’s lost hope, and thus won’t even bother to speak because it won’t change anything of her situation, but it certainly can change Rakesh’s.
Side note, I swear that man is behaving as if the grim reaper is standing behind him 24/7 ready to take his life the minute the shaadi gets called off. It’s not the end of the world dude, chill. And imagine, this whole mess emerged from some rich clowns that thought a surprise engagement was a smart idea. A domino effect.
While Suhaani couldn’t uphold her promise, it seems like Ranveer won’t uphold his either. He will get angry in the next episode, the kind of angry she doesn’t like to see. Both have made their own mistakes. To err is human. In terms of the promises, Suhaani is not the only one at fault here, both of them are. But to think on the positive side, it will be gradual character development. These kinds of things don’t magically fix themselves in one episode. Both have been set in their ways for years, be it upbringing or childhood trauma. It’s not a simple as flipping a switch. And this show has to continue for far more episodes. This is only episode 53, a small number in the scope of ITV. Easier to say than do for sure. I hope Ranveer’s outburst doesn’t cause more health problems for Rakesh, because that in turn will affect Suhaani. Maybe Suhaani will surprise me by talking to Rakesh or the entire family in general before the boy’s family arrive. Maybe Ranveer will calm himself down once he himself arrives. Let’s see, anything could happen.
Sorry for the rather long analysis, and feel free to disagree with me. This is just what I was thinking while I was bored this weekend. I will take the tomatoes now. 🤣
More college scenes please, makers. And more Ruhaani bonding, less Bua. Do things like the wonderful landslide/jungle and proposal tracks. Show more college things like you did in the initial episodes. There’s far too much family drama now as opposed to college drama. There can be a balance too you know, if TRPs are the main concern. Just a request.
