True!! They did marketed it like an inspiration of KS. It would really keep many people away. I myself was extremely wary of watching it😆 Only my love for VD made me watch the second episode😆 which made me hooked as his character seemed quite interesting. If he becomes toxic I won't be able to watch. Have watched more than my share of such characters and stories. Hope it was misleading only. And the way VD is describing it, doesn't seem like his character will be like KS

Ranveer can actually turn out to be a very good character if its handled well. He is not an angry young man, is quite sweet to even strangers if not troubled and has a no nonsense attitude.

Actually I haven't watched the film🤣 heard so many bad things about his character that could never muster up the strength to watch it🤪 but have seen some clips of the movie. If Ranveer becomes even remotely similar to that, it will be bye bye from my side😆

Suhani for now isn't bad. Like she is normal girl (I am kinda tired of those overly bubbly female leads who keep blabbering the whole day😆) her family is a bit regressive (read her father🤪) but isn't bad I feel. She should become a bit more vocal and strong thats it. Otherwise she is fine for now and we don't know much about her. As of now she has got whatever she wanted so zyada ladne ka situation hi nahi aaya hai

I'm all for more grey characters personally, but if it gets that toxic even I won't be able no matter how much I love Vivian 😆 That's why I kept my expectations low from the beginning, but I also knew that a promo can't give the whole story. This is where my hope lies. I've been rewatching some of their interviews and there seems to be a lot more that we aren't seeing surface level.

He can, and so far, I like the shades I'm seeing in him. Of course, he does have anger issues, but I wish to see the extent of that anger and its consequences before I make a final judgement about whether or not I want to continue with it.

I've listened to Shahid talk about the character from his perspective so it was nice to hear his take on the situation. But I still don't wish to see the film 🤣 if second promo Ranveer appears I will stop too, but I cling to the faith that it won't be 🤣

Suhani is shrouded in mystery still for me 😆 perhaps once she enters the college we will see more shades of her too 👍🏼

I too would like if Ranveer is kept grey but toxicity would make him unbearable. My tolerance level has gone very down for such characters😆 I am completely keeping my hopes based on off screen interviews. He has been telling there will be lot of surprises. So I think it will not turn that toxic.

Usually VD seems to take a bit hatke characters😆 who have substantial role to play in the show.

Yes he has anger issues but it was on a different level in KS. In the show when RV got angry it was understandable. But he is not eternally khadoos and angry who blasts anyone coming in his way. He just doesn't take anything lying down. If someone troubles him he reiterates but otherwise minds his own business.

totally agreed 👍🏼 there's a lot of them in ITV and another one in the mix would just leave a bad taste in my mouth 😆 There had to have been something in that story and script that got not just VD and Eisha, but the entire cast on board for the project😆 each one made the choice to join the show for their own reasons

that is true 👍🏼 and I want to trust his, Eisha’s, and each cast members choice in script 😆

his anger is justified and very situational, thus far 😆 and the promo corresponding to the match fight was misleading without the necessary context. the fact that he later went on to help treat the guy he just beat up genuinely surprised me 🤣 i was not expecting him to do so at all given the glimpses we had seen of the character before it
