I agree with you, SimarikSmokin! I respect the value and sanctity of marriage a lot but am so disappointed that people in the serial follow things blindly. First of all, I believe marraige should be the meeting (or milan) of 2 hearts and when that did not happen to begin with like in Sindoor, the meaning of mariage is lost. Dhruv sacrifices his love to marry someone of his mom's choice. Mom dear could care less for Dhruv's wishes else why did she not ask Dhruv before consenting to the marriage? And she hated Dhruv to that extent? And the father knew that Aarti was his love but he was so henpecked that he did not utter a word to the mother and decided to get him married to someone who was not in a mentally stable state at the time. And both Dhruv and Vedika were madly in love with their 1st loves and within the blink of an eye, all that changed . To me that was rather unreal.. And now he decides to marry Aarti. Hmmm. Wish they never brought in the sacrificing love to begin with, the story would have been much better without all that.
