I agree that on-screen you cannot just have 'I love you', you need 'I can't live without you and I really really love you'. You get cheesy dialogues in films and TV serials and most people do enjoy it. However in Sindoor, the dialogues are TOO Cheesy and OTT. They are so unrealistic that many times I have my head in my hands thinking 'Oh my god, do you have to add all this frivlious rubbish'. I mean how many times has Vedika said to Dhruv 'Mujhe apne sindoor pe pura bharosa hai'. But really is the title really needed in every dialogue? We get the point that the show is called SINDOOR.

I am not sure if you guys agree or not but I would love to hear your thoughts and views.

Yeah, I agree with you. 😆
We know the shows called Sindoor but that doesnt mean
you have to use the word in every episode. And it's not
just used by Ved but every other character in the show
as well. It gets annoying most of the time. And sometimes the dialogues have too much emotion that really don't fit the situation. 😕

Reemz, a nice topic of discussion , this!!!👏

I actually agree with you partially... I agree that the word "Sindoor" is given too much of mahatva in the dialogues and it is being used as many times as possible in the serial... lol

But at the same time, i can also say that Sindoor has some really effective and good dialogues also.... For example, i like the various dialogues used after the family get into trouble , start to live in a chawl.....

The dialogues spoken during fights between Ved and Dhruv, are really good... The advise given by Titli mami to Ant and Dhruv to move on brought tears to the eyes... The advise given by Titli to Vedika where she asks her to support Dhruv and forget indifferences was also good. The dialogues when Tara meets her family and many other scenes were really good...

So i would say that Sindoor has a mix of great and indiffrent dialogues....

Totally agree Reemz... also, a while ago when Dhruv had disappeared and his 'twin' surfaced, Vedika was like, "how could my sindoor betray me? I can't tell the difference between my husband and his twin..." what a load of rubbish... I mean... is the sindoor supposed to jump off her head and scream out: That is not Dhruv?!?!? 😆
The dialogue just gets more and more silly. They take us viewers for nutcases... 😆

Sree, sometimes they are emotional I agree. But the sequence where Tara meets her brothers in the chawl could have been hard-hitting but the dialogues really ruined it for me. She went on and on about how she always asked for something but this sindoor ki dabi, red bangles and some other item are the best present she could have ever recieved from her brothers. I wish I remembered the exact dialogues but I found them way too cheesy and they definately made the serial slow.

This maybe a bit off-topic but even when Dhruv and Vedika are saying their dialogues, why do they hold hands? 😆 Its as if they have promised that they will only go far as holding hands. I have never seen a passionate hug b/ween them! 😕 Sorry, that really is off-topic.

Continuing about our pair- They're always saying how they will always support each other and stand by each others side. BIG BIG dialogues are said!! They say their promises and vows again but within the next few episodes they seperate for some reason. Why such heavy lines when they don't have any value? (This goes for the Sindoor story writers not Dhruv and Vedika)

Exactly!! In such a dilemma how can you have dialogues like this? Its not your sindoor which decides who is your husband...its YOU!!!

Its not like that, Sindoor's dialogues are always unrealistic n don't have any sense.
The only thing I found wrong with the dialogues till date is that, the "respect" that should be in the dialogue is missing.Like, Dhruv sometimes call Rudra as "Rudra bhaiya" n sometimes "Rudra" n he nvere called Niharika as "Bhabhi" aur toh aur on Vedika's b'day episode he called Kajal as "Kajal" n not "Kajal Bhabhi"
This thing annoy me...

But all the other times ,I think sometimes Sindoor dialogues are just amazing....

They are taunting ,when they have to be, like when Dhruv taunts Vedika for that b'day present.

They are cute , when Dhruv asks Vedika toh 4give him after a little fight beteen them in night , in which he sais that he will drink the hot tea n will burn his tounge. That was really cute 😳 n infact a new dialogue, i ever heared.

Atleast Sindoor's dialogues r better than the other shows.
U just can't criticse the dialogues, just for using "Sindoor" word in it.....

Janamika I am not just criticizing the use of the word 'Sindoor' in every sentence, in fact that has considerably decreased as the serial progressed.

Generally, I find the dialogues way too cheesy and at times they are not needed. It looks extremely unnatural and sometimes you can sense the actors discomfort while they're saying the lines.

Great topic Reemz!!!

I totally agree with you, some dialogues are horrible and really cheesy while others are fabolous. The way 'Sindoor' is being overused is is awful. Vedika keeps using it in almost every episode. This is the best example for it 👏

I agree w/ Sree di aswell, many of the dialogues between Dhruv and Antariksh are very well written.
