It's not about Ruhaan it's about Mishti, she's not considering his feelings. It feels like Pari liked a non living thing and Mishti is ready to milao aasmaan and zameen to get her the thing. So it clear he's being objectified.

It was too say if she cant chose when 2 are on death bed similarly she should make better choices ..

And she is wrong in faning love of pari
