Vartika, I completely agree with you! Emotional bonding is when you don't need words to convey your feelings. The opposite person just understands you, reads your silence and interprets your emotions. The concept of emotional bonding is very subjective. For some its when you talk and share things that forms an emotional bond, for some an emotional bond is created without words. For me the bond that needs no words is the strongest bond. Its the connection of two hearts. Mishti and Ruhaan understood each other without even having one single conversation. Yes, for Ruhaan it was physical attraction when he fell for her when he saw her for the first time, but then love at first sight is not an uncommon thing. It is after some time he crossed the attraction phase and connected with Mishti emotionally. Same goes for Mishti, Ruhaan affected her since day 1. She too was attracted to him but because she was committed, she chose to ignore her attraction and that led to her emotional outbursts in front of him. It was her inner turmoil that was causing the conflict. For me, she never hated Ruhaan she always knew if she gave up, her emotions will get the better of her and she will fall in love with him. She was just masking her feelings with hate and anger. Only after the birthday incident she gave up fighting her emotions because somewhere deep under she was already losing that fight. Mishti then started understanding Ruhaan and connected with him emotionally. All have different opinions regarding emotional connection. Mishaan have their own opinions regarding emotional bonding. Every love story is unique and cannot be compared to others.
