exactly . I think people are not understanding the seriousness of marriage . You can't marry someone just because you committed to them but don't love them. Yes she's saying she loves veer but that doesn't look to be true because she definitely has feelings for ruhaan. So if they show that she has indeed fallen in love with ruhaan she has to break off with veer. Marriage is long term...you can't marry someone if you don't love them and want to spend the rest of your life with them...that's when we get messy divorces and emotionally traumatized children ..so to prevent this ..you have to be 100 % sure, and really on your wedding day and for the rest of your marriage you should have eyes only for your husband,..so if before marriage you are already falling for another man..then the marriage has to be called off.Mishti had only 1 relationship in her life. She is still in her early twenties. Veer was her first BF , they dated and got engaged.
She thought she was in love and Veer was the perfect partner for her , that's why she got committed. We don't even know if they were that deeply in love and how long they knew each other.
If she meets a guy later with whom she connects more emotionally and physically and wants to spend her life with him , she should break up with Veer . What's the big deal about it ? Veer is a nice guy for sure. But it hasn't looked so far that they will die without each other kind of love.
Its an engagement , not a jail term that you cannot get out.
Btw maybe Veer kabhi Mishti ki dhadkane tez kar hi nahi paya. And she did not know such a thing could happen to her 😆
