I guess the insecurity storyline that was planned for DD/Nandini will be played into Pari's role/character now.

So SA said happy ending, so there will be no deaths but that doesn't mean characters won't be depressed and make bad decisions in the leap time period, like Kunal might remarry and get divorced again. Or it could be that during the recovery time Dadi told the kids that MauNal are getting back together and then when they didn't and Mishti went to live in another home she felt abandoned. That way Mishti and Pari won't have any misunderstandings but Pari would probably still think all her motherly figures (like Mehek just dropped off the face of the earth) end up leaving her and that why she doesn't want to get attached to anyone.

I mean Mishti has her great Popsy and amazing mom for self-esteem and confidence and all, but even Pari has Kunal, who is horrible in all relations but was a good father, so her commitment issues don't make sense to me at all, no offense.

That could happen, but like, if the writers were going to show that he never gets his memory back, why would they show KuNan flashbacks? He even had one today to their wedding, and it wasn't blurred and yet he was like "Who's Nandini", Lord, today was the worst episode 🤢.

Not saying the writers won't do this, cause they obviously suck, but they will have dug a deeper hold for themselves should they do this.
