i didnt look too much into that but many here did feel it hinted something...that he chose to stay with Mauli...

I agree...it's like while writing Gajra forgot that this moment meant a lot even for Mishti...whether she loves Kunal or not...but Kunal is her father...baap ka saaya apnijagah hota hai even if Mauli moves on with anyone...Kunal will always be there and ready to sacrifice his life for Mishti

I feel both YES and NO

YES - means she is innocent and trying to convey that he hasnt died, he is very much alive

NO - means our hidden wish, he was just lost for few years but in all he was still very much for Mauli only
