Even before that Ishaan said he was going to be their son and take care of them, implying they had no intentions of parting

I don't remember any of that but you're right...but do they even remember what they said and showed us. Has Ishaan told his mother what he planned on doing with his life post marriage? I guess not. In fact his mother said Shaadi toh Delhi mein hogi...and then while living within Mumbai, Mauli will have to cut off Kunals family...fair enough ...but i dont think gajra remembers what she wrote and conveyed herself...that I is ready to be ghar jamai

The characters are so illogical. I shouldn't expect anything else from Indian tv show characters though. That's why I am so annoyed that anyone with a brain thought keeping Pari and Mishti apart was a solution. Like for how long? They are two people from the same family so for how long can you make sure they don't meet each other.

If we go for a neat happy ending then this is the only one that makes sense. I saw someone say once Gajra doesn't believe in happy endings or something like that. But what about Pearl? She gets the final say doesn't she?
