I am all for Pari and Mauli bonding. Mauli needs it more than anyone else. This might sound weird to others but Mauli is still stuck on Kunal and Nandini. She has done everything right, and everything possible to "move on" but if her heart is not healed she can't move on. She never had closure. Her best friend, the person she loved most of her life who was her "jaan", aka Nandini is dead. No matter how bad their parting was Mauli would never want Nandini hurt. She would be crushed when she finds out Nandini is dead. Mauli will never get her closure from Nandini. She will never know peace. Marrying Ishaan is a different matter. That has nothing to do with what happened between her and Nandini. I think only through Pari, Mauli can get closure. Pari is the best parts of Nandini, the best version of her. Through Pari maybe she can finally forgive Nandini and move on for real, not pretend to move on by suppressing the memories. But actually let go of the hurt and resentment and move on.
And Mauli is not getting the short end of the stick by doing this. Loving is the best gift you can give yourself. If she can come to love Pari and gets Pari's love return then she is not losing out on anything. She is getting a gift from life. A gift that Nandini didn't get. Karma got her.
