I don't understand and I don't think I ever will understand the appeal of accepting a person, a spouse nonetheless - and most of the times male spouses (in comparison to female spouses) - back in to ones life after he has betrayed you...and made it amply clear that he is not interested in you or being in a relationship anymore and that whatever they had once upon a time is over.

Kunal has made it crystal clear about where he stands. I don't think he could have been any more clear about where he stands from the moment he slept with Nandini. But even after that instance Kunal has done things that clearly showed he is done with Mauli and their marriage and quite recently he even said with utmost clarity that he is in love with Nandini. and that he and Mauli are over.

Then why does Mauli want Kunal back in her life ? Why is she ready to accept him back? Ek second ke liye even if she forgets the betrayal of her love, her trust and the fact that the EMA of her husband was with once bestie Nandini ... how can she forget Kunal's words ??? Where he again and again on a loop tells on her face that he is in LOVE with another woman? "Main tumse nahi Nandini se pyaar karta hoon" ...How would anybody or rather any woman want such a man back?

Why does one want such a person in their life?

One who doesn't understand your worth... respect, love or care for you ??? Yes, it's hard to understand or accept the reality when years of love and togetherness dissipate off when an affair starts... But why is it so hard for a woman to love and respect herself??? Why is it so hard for women to not realize their worth?

Mauli was shown to be a strong, sensible, self-respecting, resilient and mature woman when she came across the truth about Kunal and Nandini, when she confronted the duo, when she single-handedly filed for divorce, when she told Kunal that he could go meet Nandini anytime he wanted and them (MauNal) staying together for one month was just a charade for the sake of Dida, when she decided to keep the news about the baby from Kunal (As she didn't want to use the baby as an excuse to save their marriage) ...BECAUSE she was shown as a woman who although hurt had come to terms with with the truth that their marriage had ended...who had accepted the reality that there was nothing to be saved because Kunal had walked out of their marriage in a way that nothing could ever be saved.

Please don't ruin Mauli's character by pining for a heartless creature like Kunal. A woman like Mauli even though a reel character deserves somebody who knows her worth...and KUNAL IS NOT THAT.

Yes pls mauli ko aise hi rehne do ..caring loving n happy ...just to unite kunan don't make her negative

trust me its not about self respect and self worth everytime.

sometimes you are helpless because of love, relations and the time you have shared with the person..

and mauli kunal had nothing wrong in their relationship.. so letting go kunal so easily is tough for mauli.. and now an unborn is also involved.

i know kunal had made it clear to her that he doesnt love her anymore but she loves him and is not able to forget him.. this unborn has come as a hope for mauli since she wants kunal to realise his mistake and be back for the child's sake. if kunal comes and tells her that he is ready to give them a chance then why would she refuse it..

she herself wants him for them, its not a chance for mauli and kunal only as a couple but a chance for them as a family.

I know it is not about always self-respect and self-worth ...And I even addressed the whole not being able to come to terms with the reality angle too.Women are emotional...they are givers, nurturers etc when compared to the Opp. sex and therefore more accepting and forgiving...What I am saying is women should also start loving themselves and not settle down, especially when you know you are worth a lot more.

Mauli knew she didn't do anything wrong (If you see the confrontation seq) which is why she insisted that Kunal tell her where she went wrong that he wandered off...That is a woman who knows her worth...Ever since she has shown to be that way with the exception of the B'day party when things started changing. Even when she got to know that she was preg. she could have easily used that as an excuse to get Kunal back.. but she refused because she wanted Kunal to return for her, for them ...and not because he felt responsible for their unborn child.

Why would she refuse a chance of togetherness when Kunal comes and says it? Simple - he doesn't love her. He has expressed as much through his actions, his words ...on learning that he was going to be a father- he wasn't elated...he refuses to believe it. He doesn't consider or believe what he did was a mistake or a sin... he has said as much. It's pretty clear as to why he has returned - not for Mauli, not for the CHILD but for Nandini, who has asked him to...Why would anybody wants such a person in their lives...who doesn't have a bone of honesty?

I think Mauli is behaving as most wives do in real life. Wives always fight to save their marriage they don't give up on it immediately. Remember she lived with Kunal for 7 years and maybe they went out before that for a few more years in medical school. And in that time he has showed her love and she was happy until nandini came so she just wants her old life back with him. We see him as trash that she will be happier without but she doesn't. In her heart she probably believes that they can be happy again. Also when people are married they are possessive about their spouses ...so she feels he's hers and she wants him back. I don't think this makes her negative or weak...I think it just makes her human and normal. She's wants what was hers Back and he is still her legal husband. But we know he's not worth it and that he's probably going to hurt her again ...she doesn't know that yet ...sadly she'll have to find out herself and then move on from him. I think they are,showing the normal progression of EMAs. But there are cases also where after an EMA the husband goes back to the wife and stays with her forever. There's a case of a popular Bollywood actor who many years ago left his wife for this popular Bollywood actress but came back to his wife after the wife according to tabloids, attempted suicide ..and he's still with his wife many years later ..so I'm not sure how they are going to progress with silsila...

@sona - okay so the problem is mauli ignoring the fact that he has returned bcz of nandini and not for them.. well, i am sure they wont show mauli accepting such thing.. as much as we know mauli , she can not accept such kunal.. lets wait for episodes to air to comment on it further..

by the way here is my reply to some other post.. pls read it as it contains kunal's reasons for not being happy about his baby.. i think it will make u understand what i am trying to say.

earlier mauli was very angry and devastated after witnessing the betrayal.. it came as a shock to her so she made sudden decision but later on she started realising her love for him. dida radhika and her own mother asked her to take a step forward towards kunal. she tried it so many times but always cried after seeing kunal's interest in nandini.. initially she was forced to pursue kunal but later on it was shown that she herself wanted him to realise his mistake and was ready to forgive him.. i dont judge her here as its her choice and it doesnt make her weak..

yes of course the mother in mauli has made her emotionally weak and is EXPECTING KUNAL TO REALISE HIS MISTAKE FOR THEM(mauli and her baby and for himself too).. dida always said the thing that kunal can not live wothout his child so probably mauli also thinks that this is true.. and kunal coming back to her will make her feel that he has returned for them..

now coming to KUNAL.. i didnt even mentioned his take on this situation in my post as i dont expect him to change for all of this.. that man is a disgusting person who thinks man-woman love is more important than family love..

see, as of now we have seen only ivs showing kunal unhappy about things.. i would like to watch episodes to comment further on this situation.. but we have seen him asking mauli how is this possible.. is she sure..

see even mauli was shocked , she was confused and said "ab hi kyu hua yeh jab main aur kunal ..." she wasnt over happy like other tv shows bahus "main maa banane wali hu. main maa banane wali hu." 😆 she behaved normal as the situation is very messy.. so did kunal.. he was shocked first and now he will probably feel bad about it and would think that why it happened now when he and mauli arr breaking apart..

i hope he doesnt over do things. but i kinda feel if i were kunal i wouldnt be happy either..

but i hope if he has returned for kid's sake then he should fulfill his duties towards his kids mother honestly and fully..
