Part 1
Radhika-Dida-Mauli are walking towards the party from one side and Nandini is walking out of the party from the other side. Nandini is about to open the door and Kunal is tensed. Right then Nandini notices Mauli entering and hides. Kunal switches off the lights so that Mauli and others cant see Nandini. He switches on the stage light and it falls on Mauli. Decorations are showered on Mauli. She smiles happily and Nandini smiles seeing her. Mauli walks towards Kunal just as Nandini slips out. Mauli notices a power point of her photographs and funny expressions. Nandini watches them from a corner. Kunal looks at Nandini who is emotional. They nod at each other and Nandini leaves from there. All the photographs of Mauli are without Kunal. The lights come on and Maulis brother comes with gift for her. Mauli notices a handkerchief on the floor while Kunal notices a piece of Nandinis jewelery. Just as Mauli bends to pick up the handkerchief, Kunal hides the jewelery. Dida asks Mauli if she likes the surprise that Kunal worked hard for. Mauli says its beautiful like a beautiful lie that eyes are fascinated with but heart cant believe. Radhika says cake has come. Mauli cuts the cake and feeds everyone. She awkwardly offers the cake to Kunal who eats it. He wishes her happy returns of the day but Mauli asks him not to say it coz may no enemy suffer such birthday. Radhika says lets celebrate. Mauli thanks them for making her birthday so perfect but its not a birthday for real. She says birthday is a new birth and its Maulis new birth, of an intelligent and large hearted Mauli. She says its so much happiness today that we need pain. Mauli says Dida understands my pain coz she is used to it. All get confused. Mauli laughs and says 'champagne'.
Nandini reaches home and realizes she forgot to send Mauli her gift. She wonders if she should go again to give her the gift. All drink and Dida asks Maulis brother to stop with the PJs. Mauli drinks champagne with Dida and Radhika. Kunal watches happily. Mauli walks to the bar and takes another bottle of champagne. She says 'cheers'. Kunal asks her to stop. Mauli says its my birthday, have right to this happiness. This is a perfect combination - your SHAME and my PAIN = Champagne. Mauli tells Kunal to dance with her. She asks for music. She says for old times sake, lets have a last dance. You hurt me so much, am sure you can bear this much pain.
Part 2
Mauli starts dancing on 'Kamli'. Dida and others enjoy the dance but Kunal feels awkward. Nandini reaches the venue again. Mauli takes Kunals hand and dances with him. Nandini watches the two and is stunned. Kunal twirls Mauli and they dance closely. Flashback of Kunal-Mauli wedding and romantic moments and when Mauli found out about Kunal-Nandini. Mauli re-enters the venue and puts her gift on the table. All clap but Mauli emotionally stares at Kunal. As Nandini is leaving, Mauli spots Nandini leaving too and walks out of the venue.
Part 3
Nandini is walking outside and Mauli stops her. She asks you, here? You remember my birthday? Your best friend or Souten? Nandini is stunned. She stammers and says i din want to spoil your birthday, am leaving. Mauli stops her and says why? You came here to wish me, then wish me. Nandini is stunned.
Precap -- Mauli says, you remember when we were kids. On my birthday whatever gift I used to ask for, you would get it from anywhere. Can i ask today? Will you give me? Nandini says yes. Mauli says, well, give me back my Kunal. Nandini is shocked.
