Hi I am new here but I am watching this show.
I had to post today because of what mauli was told by her Saas about being respected and not loved.

How can kunal respect her when he cheated her ?? If he respected her at least he would have spoken to her rather than going behind her back.

Also i want to add that if love alone can't make a marriage work then how can a marriage survive on respect alone? Successful marriage, or any other relationship, needs love, respect, understanding and last but on the least reciprocity. If any of these elements comes from one side but the other side doesn't reciprocate it the relationship is bound to fail eventually.

Here Mouli is truly in love with Kunal, if Kunal doesn't reciprocate the love then the marriage is already at loss. Even if Nandini wasn't in the picture and Kunal just fell out of love with Mouli , Mouli would have been hurt just the same and gone for divorce, no?

(okay no, betrayal probably hurts more, but you get the gist)

So, no there is no respect when one betrays their partner but even if there was it just isn't enough in a marriage. Men dont get to choose whether to love or to respect their wives. Those two need to go hand in hand. That was one of most wahiyat dialouge. so sad it came from the Radhika/Yamini (?) who seems pragmatic till now.
