Actually I think its both. She is extremely selfish tat's y accepted Kunal's proposal without thinking bt her friend Mauli. And she also has some psychological prob coz the way she behaved in the hospital was sheer hysteria. It was not love. It was hysteria 😕 So my conclusion is she is a selfish woman with psychological issues a dangerous combination. I think 7 yrs of marriage 2 Rajdeep has pushed her over the edge. Dont think she is sane enuf 😲

Overall, are makers trying the beyhadh way because this won't work for many reasons. DD can't put off what Maya did, and she never displayed extreme signs for us to believe N has mental ilness or anything. Instead they justified her by divine intervention lol

I do agree that every person copes differently, but it was just a thought since most people who have been abused do suffer from some sort of trauma - how extreme that may be would surely differ from person to person. But assault is something that would indefinitely shake someone up - be it for a long/short term. By depression, I was referring to when she was with Rajdeep, since she was basically trapped in a relationship with no future. And depression doesn't just "go away" overnight - even if you're not clinically depressed, you may need counselling/therapy or something to put that behind you. There was nothing of that sort shown in the show, but that doesn't mean Nandini was not affected at all by that ordeal. She is human, and assault is a serious issue. I would find it incredulous if that whole incident did nothing to her mentally.

Post her "separation" - they didn't focus on what she was feeling (correct me if I am wrong, because I didn't follow the episodes back then and this is based on tweets I have read). She says that she never felt this love before - fair enough, but isn't she still traumatized by what happened to her previously? I mean she did CHOOSE Rajdeep at some point. So to me, she ought to have trust issues. But everything was glossed over, to show the "love" between KuNan.

As for going the Beyhadh way, I kinda felt they may experiment with that after yesterday's episode. Whether DD would be able to pull that off (if they indeed do go that way) is something we will have to wait to see.

Possible end to Nandini character are her death or by sending her to mental asylum..bcz I don't see my other option of dis character redemption..

Yes if this is the case , they should have kept her consistent . Post rain dance uptil the ganpati bappa scene she was absolutely normal and showed no signs of mental illness or any kind of trauma , except one or two incidents with rajdeep...she cleverly hid everything from mauli and told lies after lies , she and kunal both . Now that she has kunals attention , she is craving for more and more ..earlier she had a doubt whether kunal will come to her , she had to share him with mauli . Now kunal promised her , she is reassuring herself that kunal will never go back mauli and its celebration time .

I think they will show it very soon, to me it has been very obvious since the beginning. Nandini or other character have never called her a victim but she is one. She's a domestic violence and rape victim. She gets panic attacks, is depressed I don't think we have actually ever seen the "real" Nandini,she's not mentally healthy.She's just a body walking on earth.

I was bashing her then.

Now it seems she has serious mental disorders.

Nandini not showing any right human behaviour.

Either she is inhuman or psycho.

I felt the same many a times. Especially in the hospital scene ,the way she was behaving looked like hysteria and mental imbalance to me. She has extreme mood swings too like someone mentioned. I personally feel she can be giving and nice like she was initially before her marriage to Rajdeep where she motivated,cooked and took care of Mouli and encouraged her to study and become a famous doctor. Nothing gave her more joy at the time han seeing Mouli succesful and happy in her life. In contrast to that she seems colder and zoned out now. Her continued abuse may have played a role in her changing psychology. Like someone mentioned it could be a case of severe PTSD but the writers need to throw more light on he rmedical condition then. They need to put more effort towards explaining her psychology to the viewers and what made her change the way she has.

The writers seems very confuse and lost they dont know what to do anymore with Kunal and Nandini. The show can be sooo interesting if it wasnt for fast forward and showing the wrong way for an affair. Usually, people have EMA because they are fed and unhappy in their marriage life. It was still bearable from Nandini's side but Kunal have no excuse. Very poorly written. Writer going to fast its like writer don't know how to connect the dots anymore.

I disagree with the mental illness aspect of the topic.

Kunal was with Nandini after she was traumatized by the Mahila Samaj ladies after she was blackened with tar. After she was claimed to be an adultress. She was very much in shock and the only hope she had was Kunal. She was not over the incident when She came to know about Dida's heart-attack. Weak as Nandini is she is not able to think beyond her bad luck and the sufferings she had to endure. She is very much in the right state of mind, but like any wounded puppy, she will continue to hide under the blanket and keep her ears closed for her to think beyond herself.
