As we are seeing, kunal-nandini's affair and so-called love seems to be formed on such weak and vain grounds. It just looks like straight up infatuation and lust which started with sympathy. Because of this, all viewers are wondering how this is love? How does the way they are acting justify the affair at all when it doesn't even appear to look like love? etc.
But then today they showed that really short yet significant scene of that friend of kunal-mauli from the first week of the show appearing in today's episode, who had cheated on his wife and was going to leave her saying he no longer loved her because she has no time for him and he has now fallen for another girl. They brought that boy back, only to show him regretting having cheated his wife, and that he is back with her and their relationship is stronger and better than ever.
Why bring him back to show him regretting the affair and being back with his wife and so happy, if the cv's intention behind portraying EMA in the show was to justify EMA as being okay and a true love type relationship, where a person can find their true soulmate in someone else despite being married, because of juzzbaat and all that shit?
I now think this show isn't actually meant to show EMA in a justified way at all. I think it is instead showing the reality of EMA in real life. If any of you remember me previously saying yesterday, that according to evidence, including personal accounts and testimonies by relationship experts prove that very rarely do married men actually leave their wives for the other woman. This friend coming back was another example of EMA's in real life and often what happens as a result of the affair.
Much like kunal, even he was shamelessly in love with another woman and cheating on his wife (albeit he at least showed the honesty of admitting he was leaving his wife as he loves someone else, unlike lusty pig kunal), but now the boy has realised he still loved his wife, and made a big mistake of cheating on her, and now he is back with his wife with her having forgiven him, and he looked so happy. This was all foreshadowing for what the writer's actually want to show.
Even though it is deplorable what they are showing with kunal-nandini, and kunal having fallen too quickly for nandini, starting an affair with her, not even thinking about mauli's feelings etc, this does happen in real life, where some men who claim to love their wives will often come across a woman who peaks their interest, and they act upon it shamelessly, much like kunal. Although, most of them at least don't class their cheating as ruhaani ishq like this fake-ass kunal. The point is, the cv's have given us a clear hint that kunal and nandini's so-called love is not love, but infatuation that will die once reality hits them both. Kunal will probs regret the most from the two of them.
The cv's are showing the reality of how EMA's often start in real life, taking example of how kunan fell too quickly for one another to justify it being love, but this is how it happens in real life too. That's why we are unable to justify their affair. Because it isn't justifiable, but merely reality, and that kunal will live to regret this affair and realise what he lost with mauli all because of lust, and perhaps cv's will show kunal realising it was just just and infatuation he had for nandini that had formed because he felt sorry for her. Plus they want to show how despite adultery, often cheating partners still stick with their marital partner or how couples overcome affairs.
