They can do what they do, but I think the moment they meet Mauli, or she comes in between or whatever, they are supposed to feel a pang that she trusts them. I think that's what I found missing.
And to be frank, EMAs aren't cutesy romances. EMAs have depth, have playful romance but even then there's an underlying current of attraction that runs really deep. A desperation that makes them cheat, break people's trust
Here I find that missing. It looks superficial. It has to look real, desperate, hopeless, a certain longing, sexual, physical, emotional.
The depth in emotion is missing. Personally.
They are still wrong but I am not able to connect with them.
The viewer must look at Mauli and feel miserable for her, that's happening.
The viewer must look at Kunal and Nandini and get their Attraction and need for each other and get the guilt they are feeling but know that they are helpless in their need to be with each other.
This makes them wrong, very wrong. But they have to be convincingly wrong. Now they look silly and annoying. Which isn't supposed to be.

That's a valid point

Kunal and nandini are more of ye un dinon ki baat hai couple rather than silsila ..the former look more mature btw
