Hello everyone.
I love Kunal and Nandani together. Scratch that, I loved them. I thought this show would be similar to KANK in the sense that it will be bringing two people together that were meant to be and didn't get the chance to understand each other before they got married to different people. That is a premise that is believable and understandable. And the show was getting around to show us that and then it kind of didn't, almost dramatically. The point where I thought Kunal and Nandani's relationship will move forward and will develop as friends first and then everything else after was when Nandani was about to commit suicide and Kunal brought her back. That is one of the first times where we were presented with authentic dialogues between these two characters. And then another time was the time Nandani asked kunal to help her find a different place to live. Those two times are probably the only times I can remember them having a conversation and telling each other how they felt. Thats it. You know why KANK worked and this show isn't working for me? Because in KANK there was a build up of the relationship, there was empathy between the characters, there was genuine friendship, and then they fell for each other. I know we are not allowed to compare things but the parallel is too big to not do so. So I am angry because the premise and concept of the show is so fresh but the execution is so poor. I am angry because Kunal and Nandani could have had something pure but they don't because just simply looking at each other won't take you from step one to step two. Falling in love requires so much more and especially if that's happening in the given circumstances. I just wish there was more communication between Kunal and Nandani.

theirs is a quieter love story which doesn't work for everyone. but I think it also shows that these two's love language is not words. it is about doing things for each other or simply spending time with each.
see my post:

so if we see it from that perspective, then really they are communicating. however for us viewers who need more clarity into their thoughts or used to seeing lots of verbal dialogues between characters, it can be a bit of a letdown.

on the plus side, the two actors are actually quite expressive and so for me, who sometimes find such quiet gazes story annoying or cheesy, these two are doing it well.
