Sadly victim blaming has become norm and unfortunately rather than supporting another we blame a woman for the way she dresses, marital status, and her life choices. I hate when that happens. I am a hard core feminist and I use that word proudly.

I am not sure who will say she deserved what she got? Nobody deserves that - abuse of any kind is wrong. Yes she is having an affair with a married man but that in no way justifies any abuse of any kind. I had watched the documentary about that Delhi rape case where lawyers were blaming the poor girl and I wanted to punch those misogynistic males.

No matter what, no woman deserves abuse - END OF!!!!!

@TM very well written post!!
Like it is said, we should first teach our boys how to respect women, before teaching our girls how to dress. Until and unless it happens, victim blaming is not going to end.. It is the change in mentality that is needed!

Nandini ke saath jo ho raha that's absolutely condemned by everyone sane across the board. Theres no two ways about it.

But just like how people are condemning this, others were also condemning what was being done to Mauli. It is very unfair how some were repeatedly saying its reel vs real and so we shouldn't be feeling bad and enjoy the show. Just take it as entertainment. This double standard shouldn't happen.

Bhaiya galat hote dikhta he toh gussa ata he. Chahe woh kisi bhi character ke saath ho raha ho!! He na?
