Kunal wasn't a kid to marry Mauli if working was a problem for him. I am pretty sure, women like Nandini who choose to be home maker are still in plenty and Kunal could have easily found one.

If testosterone or sex drive could be justified, that would even justify Rajdeep's action of sleeping with another woman right in front of Nandini and his attempt at forcing her to have sex with him, which were absolutely horrible from every sense.
