In that scenario #3, they may have chance to show Nandini's growth as an individual person.
For. e.g. Nandini being pregnant with Kunal's baby, but moving away from Kunal and Mauli, surviving both financially and emotionally by herself taking all those ill-treatments from the neighbors, society etc. being unbothered about society views something like it's my life, my baby and focusing on herself. that way they can show Nandini as a strong, independent woman able to face society boldly. Later, giving her baby to Kunal and Mauli and parting her ways with them and leading her own life as a different, strong person. Something similar to KB's Kalki movie.
