The point is the CVs messed up the plot & screenplay. They should ve shown:

1. Kunal & Nandini were ex lovers who got separated due 2 circumstances. Mauli was never aware of tis. Now when they meet again those feelings r rekindled.

2. KKHH style. Hero meets another girl, marries, has kid. Wife dies & the 1st girl reenters his life.

3. Exact copy of movie Silsila

4. KANK - Hero & heroine unhappy in their marriage & fall in love with each other.

Here the CVs ve shown none of the above. They showed Kunal happily & madly in love with Mauli. They were happy together with no marital discord. They even had an active sex life, no kids to cause any drop in romance. Then suddenly BHAM 1 day Kunal claims he has fallen in love with another woman. Where is the lead up to this event. At least he s'd ve slowly been discontented with his current life. A cooling off period. Another major blunder of the CVs was 2 show Mauli & Nandini as friends. Till now I ve not read or watched ANY EMA based story where the 2 woman r best friends & 1 betrays the other by having an affair with her husband. May b it happens in real like & thank god I am sheltered enuf not 2 know such people in real life. But even if such people exist in real life then CVs & the actors s'd accept the fact that the 2 leads ll b hated by the viewers. They s'd not expect sympathy or understanding frm the viewers. To me wat I am seeing is pure lust. So just go ahead & ve the guts to accept it. It does happen. Ppl bored with their marriage & spouses searching 4 excitement by having an affair. So CVs s'd b upfront & say hey shit like tat happens & tats wat v r showing. I w'd ve really applauded their guts. Its airs at 10 PM so they can show such adult themes. Instead they r shoving this divine love crap stuff down our throat!

I don't have issues with difference of opinion in fact I love to hear other views but it has to be logical and factual. I don't care for hotness factor and further how can anyone find Kunal attractive with his bigoted qualities is incomprehensible.

KuNan romance makes me cringe. I would have loved them if they were not in this sort of situation. I just can't let go of the fact that there is underlying cheating right beneath this romance.

Emotions, that too honest ones, make a very important part in romance or physical intimacy. That's my opinion. Isn't that what everyone likes, the intentions. That was what that was making Nandini-Rajdeep romance attempts cringing because Rajdeep was evil, even though he was her husband.

Same, their romance makes me cringe too as I keep thinking about Mauli and how can I not?

If he would just tell her and then let it be that would make sense too but this whole I love my wife, how lucky I am and then loving Nandini too - it's pukeworthy honestly.

It's train wreck in the making sadly!!!

You are absolutely right , making them nice is one thing but showing them without fault and then this affair is a joke. Up until the rain dance there were no issues whatsoever in kunals marriage and then he falls. Same with Nandini until that stupid baba she was not lining but suddenly she is in love too.

My biggest issue is the DV angle I hate that and it gives such wrong message that victims of abuse snatch's husbands which is far from the truth.

CVs have fudged this beyond repair and the only way I see is Maulis journey and no please don't have her take him back then she will be gone case too as her character is totally opposite to that.

From here, chances are for,

1. Makers turning Mauli to negative by teaming up with Rajdeep, maybe to an extent publically humiliate Nandini and Kunal standing up for her and their so-called true love.

2. Kunal and Nandini may hit the reality soon and finally decide on the happiness of Mauli and they will part their ways seriously and permanently. Mauli will be not aware of this affair at all till the very end. Again Kunal and Nandini will be great ppl to sacrifice their true love for Mauli.

3. Nandini may get pregnant with Kunal's baby. Something like knowing prior that Mauli can't have a baby and Nandini thereby returns her favor to her friend and love of her life by taking all those ill-treatments from society and finally giving her baby to Kunal and Mauli and then part her ways from them permanently.

Whatever may be, but the bottom line is maker's will hell bend to prove[based on their execution till now] that the emotions better Kunal and Nandini is true love and may take tragic end to character Nandini to justify her actions. coz, death is the one thing which makes anyone to forget, forgive their wrongdoings, atleast in this case.

The fact is affair has happened and regardless of the outcome I want kunal to be held accountable however sadly with Indian patriarchal society kunal may never be held responsible- if this series goes that way then I will stop watching because I can't be bothered to waste my time with kind of crap...

Trust me, me too not happy with these options. Instead, prefer what most of the ppl are feeling.. Mauli to move away from these 2 ppl and lead her independet sucessful life, but writers are missing that realistic approach other than taking this EMA concept and trying to show it's pure love between Kunal and Nandini.

So true, that both Kunal and Nandini involved in EMA should be equally accountable for its consequences, but unfortunately sometimes women are blamed more. Sad truth.

For me, If not Kunal more, both are equally accountable for this EMA and its consequences.

@Bold: Sad truth right, and it won't be fair also to blame and shame Nandini more.

But, one point is CVs already shown Nanini as a victim of abusive marriage which not all necessary to show about her involving in EMA. They could have directly shown Nandini has feelings for Kunal and both involving in EMA. But, CVs specifically have shown her as victim to gain sympathy for that character. So, again CVs may repeat the samething by shaming Nandini more to get sympathy from viewers and whitewash their betrayal, just a thought.

As much as we all here dislike all the above options u r right. The bitter truth is that in Indian serials the above options r the mostly likely to be shown 😡
