Shakti ki jitni bhi tarif karo kaam hey! He is doing a fabulous job! Fabulous!!!! 👏

The turmoil-- the anger-- the romance, all of it came out on the brink with his outstanding portrayal of Kunal ! Hats off Shakti. 👏

Tonight Kunal was jealous, his heart took over his mind and he did things otherwise he wouldn't have.

His jealousy reached a point where his actions became inferior and he committed acts that throws him in poor light. His actions presents him as a selfish and self infected man. But this new facet is not in his control. It happens when a forbidden love takes hold over the heart. We lose the act of rational thinking and we do all kinds of wrong things and that's what Kunal does. He becomes mean.

Tonight was that night . Also it brought a different side of Kunal that is unreasonable, immensely romantic and unbearably selfish. He was in ecstacy and he said things those were outwardly Romantic. The romance in him was glimmering tonight with passion!

The way he recites Shayeri invokes a lot of emotions. The scene is beautifully captured. It's like poetry.

Whereas we see Mouli who is simply trying to help her friend. She has her best interest at heart. She wants Nandini to find a good life partner who will love and care for her.

But who knows what destiny wants.

And we have always known Kunal is that kind of individual who is emotionally driven and does things with a lot of heart, hence he is no different when it comes to Nandini. His emotions sway him away and he have realised there's no way out except to embrace it and he wants to do that now ! But still the biggest question is Nandini. She still doesn't know about it. Isn't Kunal being too much of an irrationalist ? How can he dream about Nandini without knowing what's her wish?

Besides we still donot know if fate is ready for the change?
We will find out that soon.

However once they step inside the house we find a different picture and Kunal once again comes face to face with reality and is forced to come out of his dream world. And once again he is on a cross road, unable to reach any decision and out of choice.

So his emotions will have to be tamed, looks like that, for now at least.

Please share your views.

Good night. Take care. ❤️

Nailed it.
Kunal is an emotional guy and yes, people may not like the way his character is shaping up, but the show is dealing with a social issue, that's very much real.

Infidelity. And from what we saw in today's episode, suicide because of infidelity. These are issues that need to be addressed and I don't think there's a better platform. Especially for women who may not be as educated as others.

Indian TV is taking a step forward; the actors made bold career moves with this show and I think the way it's going is perfect.

Kunal is not lusting after Nandini. People who believe that he is, really need to look up the definition of "lusting after someone" or even the word "lust". As an audience, we're privy to his mind, and his emotions and it's very clear than for Kunal, what he feels for Nandini is feelings. He's saying poems for her. He's not imagining her naked or in his bed. He's being protective of her, when her husband is out there leaking her MMS. He's looking out for her. That's not lust, that's love.

And yes, it's terrible that he's feeling that love for someone other than his wife; I'm not condoning that but, this is the premise of the show. The social issues being addressed here is infidelity and how people deal with it.

Take in the good, and leave the bad.

Kunal will repress his feelings for the next while, I think. He will put into consideration his feelings for his family, and his wife. Let's see how it plays out.

My sentiments exactly! And I have to agree, Shakti is doing an incredible job portraying the turmoil his character is going through. For me, I just didn't like the way they showed him being affected by Nandini dancing in the rain, I think that wasn't the point where the makers should have shown that he is being really affected by her. Because before that, there wasn't any indication of these kinds of feelings at all. I think that's why so many people are having problems with the way Kunal is feeling for Nandini. I mean the promos of this show from the beginning made it clear that he was a married man and he would fall for Nandini. So everyone who's watching knew what they signed up for, including myself.
I expected him to fall for her gradually, I didn't expect it to be so fast and in your face already where he's having these kinds of huge reactions. I thought it would start small and over a significant period of time. But well it's happened now, it's done so I'm just going to enjoy what we are getting.

I was afraid they would butcher his character and a fine actor like Shakti would get stuck playing a character unsuitable for his caliber, but the emotions Kunal was feeling today was very complex and all tangled up and Shakti did a fantastic job.

And I think the interesting for me in this whole thing is that Kunal is the only one feeling this way, Nandini is not feeling any such thing whatsoever. And maybe that's what the makers are going for. So when she starts to feel it too, I wonder how things will play out. Will they both know that they have feelings for each other? How will they find out, etc..

This show was addressing a hard topic to start with. To show a married man having feelings for someone else when he is in a happy marriage. To show the complexity of it, the conflicts and turmoil in each of the characters, and the tangled up situation. And the good thing is, they have the right actors for each character.

Excellent post ! I have exactly the same opinion as you !
The change in the emotions between the bar/car scene and home scene.. He's fighting with himself.

I don't understand how some people use the word Lust to describe what Kunal is feeling, that's what Rajdeep feels for Nandini (him touching her back)

The rain scene seems to be problematic for some.. I saw that scene differently. For me he was stunned Nandini still had the power to stand up after all she went trough..dancing freely and forget for a moment all the horrible stuff. Kunal started seeing her as a strong innocent woman. That scene is not only about a beautiful woman dancing in the rain. It's more complex

True. I agree with you!

Yes it's a good move and anything is better than mindless saas bahu sagas.

Again I second you. Kunal definitely isn't lusting over Nandini. Problem is since he started having feelings from the rain sequence, people felt it's lust. the maker's could have brought a better moment to bring his feelings out.
And yes it is love.

what Kunal is feeling for Nandini is not a welcome thing but from the story's perspective that had to happen. And better if we take it as a real life issue and start to see both the sides and get to analyse it.

Kunal won't make any nice now since he is affected by the incident. So it will be interesting to see how the story shapes up.
P.s. there's a lot of hate messages towards the show. But I dnt understand, this is not the first time the issue is dealt with. And if the makers have come up with such concept then why cnt we face it? Afteral it is a true fact in today's society. Besides if we don't like that we can enjoy it just as a story too.

Thanks a lot for commenting .replies in pink.😳
