Ok on a serious note, I completely agree. There need to be some different shades. I guess we shall see that only after she gets out of this marriage.

Till now , Nandini is a disappointment. But I guess that's the plan. Cv's are showing so much abuse so that when Nandini finally retaliates, it would create maximum impact.

I agree .. Drashti is fab in emotional scenes 👏 .. true noone can cry better than her on screen .. I m following her work from Geet days and she really makes those emotional scenes look damn real .. So yes writers r using her strength so far in all epis .. But after a point it will get monotonous , so hopefully we see her different shades too because she is equally good in light hearted scenes too .. Just want to see her smile in the show now 😆😳

As always, a brilliant analysis of the good and the bad of the show. After ages I have started watching a show, mainly for the two wonderful actresses...especially Drashti .

I hope they maintain the essence of the one relationship with which they began the show, which is the friendship between these two girls, and the strength of their bonding in spite of the trials and tribulations that come their way because of the other relationships they have.

At this stage, Nandini seems to be stuck in the vortex of this so-called marriage wherein she is enabling Raj's sadism by taking whatever he is throwing at her. She is not even trying to get out of this abusive relationship, where she is treated like a mannequin by Raj, to his ends. I agree with you that two weeks down the show, we get the nature of the relationships, and that repetition of Raj's maniacal behaviour is getting to rattle. However, the meekest of the woman can find the strength to face the devil when her child is threatened. So I assume, this will be the first turning point of Nandini's life, when she will take the big leap to break out of her passivity and her violent life, triggered by the fear of the safety of her unborn child.

Just a speculation: Nandini's saviour...her best friend's husband...a husband who has shown signs, even though very faint ones, of feeling lack of something in his relationship with his wife. Nandini's on-the-face presence in their lives might just shake the foundation of this marriage.

I too feel this miscarriage will b one of the first turning point in Nandini's life .. not only miscarriage but also the shocker of how Rajdeep went to the extreme of selling her off for his benefit .. After that the way he brutally kicks her womb on the middle of the road and then throws her on the road and leaves , all this should b a trigger point in her life to finally take the decision of walking out from this mess .. Plus she will hv Mouli's support too , so she is not alone either ..

Coming to Kunal Mouli's relation , yes there r few issues in their relation but I feel these problems r common these days in every marriage especially when most of today's woman r working .. So should this b the reason enough for Kunal to fall for another woman 🤔..I know Nandini's presense at the same time can b intimidating but I m wondering what kind of msg will it send across ..So from now onwards no friend will help her friend in need with the fear of she might eventually go onto break her marriage ...But lets see how these feelings r shown .. Every relation need not b physical .. it can b a platonic one too .. he might find someone in his lonely time to give him company .. But everything dont hv to end up in bed ..

If she develop any feelings for Kunal than its obvious that its due to Rajdeep is lacking in every department n he is a bad husband..and Kunal is so caring ..but what will be interesting to see is how Kunal will develop feelings for her (if he will devlop)

I guess like Kunal wants Mauli to be in Saree ..but she hardly wore it ..but Nandini wears Saree ..it's small thing but I guess these Small - big things will make difference in their life n the relationships will change between three of them.

Let's see how CV's show this story.

Mayb the idea of a wife that Kunal has in his mind , Nandani will turn out to b exactly like that which is where Kunal will connect to her more .. But the level of intimacy that writers hv shown between Kunal and Mouli , after that they need to b properly justify why Kunal will fall for Nandini , or else noone will b able to connect with Kunal's character .. I mean tomorrow he can again fall for someone else if he gets bored of Nandini too .. So hope the relation or feelings between these two is handled in a rather matured way ..

Quite a common reason for victims of abuse to stay to be honest. Especially when they are not financially independent.

Unfortunately that might turn out to b the case .. but now with Mouli on her side , she should find that courage to finally come out of this abusive relation and stand on her own feet .. I guess miscarriage and this whole selilng fiasco will b the trigger point ..

Nandini has been subjected to years of torment hence her submission and timid-self makes sense to me. Victims go through a series of thoughts:

1. 1. He apologised, he didn't mean it. He was frustrated, it's his love etc the denial mode.

2. 2. He'll change, I've gone through this for this long might as well see him regret his decisions the optimistic stage

3. 3. It's me, I can't appease him. I am good for nothing, I this I that the self-inflicting stage. Where the blame lies in the victim, or so she/he thinks

4. 4. Lived through it all my life, might as well stick with it the giving-up stage.

Nandini so far is optimistic (1) and resilient (2), i don't think she blames herself yet hence that a good thing.

However i like how they are building her character, like y'day she attacked back and fought for something which she felt was wrong. I suppose no matter what she hadn't expected rajdeep to fall so low. I hope she relalises she needs to rise above all this and show Rajdeep where he truly belongs? Be in a coffin or a cell (both is fine with me😡)

But on the whole i totally agree with you, i'd like to see more shades and differences in Nandini. She to me has such scope and that excites me being a DD fan.

Yesterday epi I actually saw a different shade of Nandini when she courageously fought that old guy .. way she hits the bottle on his head and escapes and later in car even opposes Rajdeep about his sick idea of selling her off , that made me feel that in future we will see a strong Nandini in action .. she has it in her to stand for herself , just that she lacks self-belief right now but I m sure Mouli and Kunal will bring her out of her shell and we will see a complete transformation in coming episodes ..

About the past 3 weeks , I agree she was a complete optimist .. she believed that one day he will change but last 2 episodes she had her trigger point and might finally realise that devils like him never change .. from here it will b interesting to see how she deals with the situation .. Rajdeep will again try to get her back .. lets see how Nandini deals with it ..

Bepannah I dont hv much complaints right now because just like Zoya , even I want to know PooSh murder mystry truth , so I m happy she is reopening the case even if her logic is flawed 😆 .. but whole forum is against her idea , so I m in minority , so not making post till this mystry is solved 😆

The storytelling has just begun.The audience has to know how broken Nandini really is, before we get to see her strength overcoming her weaknesses. She was feisty enough while warding off the lech Makheeja. She understood that Rajdeep hit a new low when he traded her body for his personal profits. As long as he asked her to doll up and play the supporting, rather, trophy, wife, it was okay by her. That she understood to be her duty towards her husband and her marriage. For that she even absorbed all his abuses, cause she really had no place to go.That's how most domestic victim cases are, like you pointed out. They justify all the wrong actions of their husbands by assuming "he is not so bad", "he does treat me well at times", "he may change", "maybe something's wrong with me" etc. etc.

Thus far we have seen that Nandini hasn't really any dreams of her own. That's why she moulds her happiness as per the people she is close to. First it was Mauli. We have been shown how involved she was in pushing Mauli to realize her dreams. And then after marriage, she moulded herself to what Rajdeep wanted. I would like to know more as to why she is who she is. Before Rajdeep. Before Mauli.

Someone has to truly show her her self-worth. Should be Mauli, but that person may just be Kunal. That's where the danger lies. We have already seen the glimpses of how captivated Nandini is (Drashti is such a fine actress, especially while expressing the blink-and-you-miss eye expressions) watching Kunal and Mouli's back-and-forth love banters.For the first time she is seeing how different a relationship between a man and woman can be. She might tread onto forbidden waters, without meaning to.

I realize that this show is all about "changing relationships". However, I would love to see Nandini turn into a confident and independent woman.

On second thoughts Mouli will b busy with her profession , so mayb Kunal will b the one who will bring her out of her shell .. make her strong .. push her ahead in life .. ask her to persue her dreams ..in the process like u said she will start developing feelings for him , trending into the forbidden waters .. It will b natural in her case .. But from Kunal's POV , what will b his reasons , just loneliness ? 🤔.. But tagline of show itself says emotions r not right or wrong , they r just emotions , so I guess CVs wont really try to justify it but just show they r helpless in front of certain emotions ..
