It's to show his love obviously. Saroj said it was ok if he slapped her because at least he "touched her". You guys just don't understand... I'm being sarcastic. I'm really annoyed at Sony right now. Their timings are way off at night so when I tune in for Dekha Ek Khwab, I have to see the last ten-fifteen minutes of this horrible show 😡

This show is gonna be hell if its like the other show. But wee neeed to make CVS come up with ideas to not make Saroj's family all helpless type.

Lik eher dad should come and take her away! And amrit n his mum need to plead to get saroj back in their fam

Amrit slaps Saroj because he knows he can get away with it, Saroj is too weak a woman to say anything. At end of the day, UTV the production house loves violence, take its other show Dil Se di Dua Saubhagyavati Bhava for example, another show showin domestic violence and that too worse than a slap showin in Shubh Vivah...UTV don know how to make serials

Amrit is slapping saroj cos he has not realized wat a gem he has married and d trend is going to be continued for long til amrit realises it

and saroj is js weak women she cannot do anything by herself dats how character is being portrayed and dats how is belief dat showing violence on innocent lady grabs d trp

dats y dis violence trend is continued from long in daily soaps

And when amrit wil realise his mistake for sure he is going to feel guilty for it

i hope he wont take forever to realise it wish it happens soon

In Dil Se Di Dua, they don't condone or romanticize the husband's behavior. They portray it in an extremely negative light (as it should be) and the female lead never played it off like it was no big deal.

In this show though, Saroj goes about her day as if nothing happened and then tells her poor sister not to tell anyone when she sees the slap. What is she teaching her sister here? It's ok if your husband slaps you, just keep it to yourself? Horrible.

I don't know if it's "odd" or not, but it's definitely outrageous and disgusting. Most people are aware that abusive relationships exist but few people will just shrug off physical abuse they see on TV. It makes most people upset, and people should be upset by such behavior.
