I don't have a fantasy of kissing a man: Aashka

Aashka Goradia, the Kalavati of television is now being seen in Sony Entertainment's Shubh Vivaah as Sarla, the lady who has a strong sex drive. And, in order to fulfill that she strives for love outside her marriage. In a candid chat with Dailybhaskar.com, Aashka talks on her views about men.

Ask her how it's like to be playing a lady with an extra marital affair and Ashka says, "This is a track, which has me romancing a man outside my marriage. It is indeed bold, but we haven't crossed any limits. I feel women with extra marital affairs are not bad, somewhere their husbands or in-laws are responsible for the affairs."

Things in reel life do sometimes take inspiration from happenings of real life. And, we ask Aashka about what will be her reaction if she finds her husband cheating on her, she replies, "I will not blame him and will try and understand where I went wrong. If, after this self analysis also I don't find myself guilty, then I would just tell him that 'You proved that you are a man.'

The intimate scene in Bade Acche Lagte Hai was too bold for television and we thought of discussing the idea of doing an intimate scene with Aashka, the actress claims "I don't have a fantasy of kissing a man on screen, until it is Johnny Depp. But I will surely do it if the script demands. As far as Sakshi is concerned, I can never compare myself with her. She is an ace actress and she was the only one who could have done that act without making it look cheap."

Apart from daily soaps Aashka is turning into a business woman, she concludes by saying, "Sarla is a cameo for me. I am starting my own business of makeup brands. There is a brand in South Africa which I will be taking over soon. I am just waiting for the transaction papers."
